Ford is retiring three internal combustion engine models – the Escape, Edge and Transit Connect – to make room for new electric vehicles.
Legacy automobile companies that have been producing internal combustion engine vehicles for decades have been addicted to their gas-powered models as electric vehicles began to make their mark over the past dozen or so years. Those companies have slowly begun to make commitments to transition to all-electric, but some have been changing at a snail's pace.

i dont buy fords anyway. just keep my good old gas powered car.
this is all part of forcing people into global governments smart cities. concentration camps is what they are.
That sounds like a losing proposition to me. Especially for the Transit van.
Indeed it look like their stocks they are already close to being a penny stock this should finish them off.
Hydrogen fuel station opens next door sales great.
People should take note now, and make sure that they don’t buy any car from any car company that promises to stop making ICE cars, or they will be stuck with cars that are no longer supported and/or maintained by the parent company.
So, Ford dealers and Audi dealers and Mercedes dealers and any other maker that is due to stop making ICE cars, should start suffering the consequences of their future decisions, NOW!.
I will not be buying Ford or GM or Audi or Mercedes vehicles, and I’m in the market for a new vehicle soon.
Stocks are toast, F 150 is a failure, didn’t they learn anything?
ROFLOL.
Stay FAR, FAR away from those models. Terrible quality and reliability. A friend is a service writer for a local Nissan dealership. They can't keep up with service on the 3cyl models they're so bad.
I own a 1998 Honda, a 1999 Ford...and a 1961 VW....They can can take them from my dead fingers.,,after I feed them lead.
Wait till the UAW slugs come to the realization electric cars have 80-80% less parts meaning 80-90% of those aforementioned slugs will soon have no job and dependent on Jao Bai Dan regime for their welfare check..
Dealership keeps calling me on trading my very reliable Altima with 144K miles on and trade up to a new one.
Last time they did that, i told them I would not specifically because of the 3 cylinder engine. Told the voice that 32K was way to much for something with a 3 banger in it.
Coupled with the problematic CVT transmission, those mechanics really have their hands full.
3 cylinders? Ugh
FORD is Done. They have manufactured garbage since the late 90’s.
You think they’ll be gone that fast???
Datsun!
Hey, that’s a good one — “Datsun”.
Hey, that’s a good one — “Datsun”.
Yes it’s sad but the pressure to go EV is relentless. The powers that be have the corporations in a chokehold, and there is probably no turning back, however much we might wish it. Like Nancy said, embrace the suck.
All the auto companies that are going “all-electric” will have to walk back that decision in about 3 years or so!!
I know a certain consulting company around here that installed electric-car charging stations right after biden came to power. These charging stations are NEVER used!!!!
