The Luftwaffe fought The Battle of Britain with Soviet oil. I’d say Stalin was one of the culprits.
Well, I’m not smart enough to ponder “what ifs” too much.
But I have two grandfathers who were highly decorated soldiers in WWI and WWII.
One fought for Germany in WWI and then the USA in WWII.
One for Turkey and then the Jewish brigades for England (and later the Irgun, but we don’t talk about that).
Both said they fought on the correct side of each world war.

Thanks for pointing that out. I just took a look at a map of 1938 Europe, and you are right. While Czechoslovakia as a whole was closer to the USSR, the Sudetenland was closer France.
Basically Hitler considered any part of the former Austria-Hungarian Empire as a legitimate part of the Reich, as well as any parts that belonged to Germany before WWI.

However, as someone who lived through WWII, I remember that the major heroes were the allied troops in the front lines, the American industrial complex, and the American factory & shipyard workers who worked 12 hour days, 6 days per week...
They all combined to win the war...
No national leaders of either side were heroes... They all combined to get us into the war...
The title to this article is an insult to the heroes of WWII...

Rudy wasn’t in charge of protecting the nation. I Don’t want the president “inspiring” in the middle of an attack.
