Did you catch wind of the shooting at the Chicago White Sox game yesterday? The crowd, understandably freaked out and scattered in all different directions.
Here was the initial report from AP:
— A shooting that wounded two women at Friday night’s Chicago White Sox-Oakland Athletics game most likely involved a gun that went off inside Guaranteed Rate Field, Chicago’s interim police superintendent said Monday.
Officials have said little about where the bullets came from, or if someone brought a gun into the stadium, but Fred Waller, interim superintendent of Chicago Police Department, said Monday that investigators have nearly ruled out the possibility that the shots came from outside the ballpark, the Chicago Tribune reported.
“We’re dispelling a lot of things,” Waller said during a brief media availability. “(A shot) coming from outside is something we’ve almost completely dispelled. We’re still looking at every avenue. It’s still under investigation. Something from inside, it could’ve happened that way. We’re looking at every avenue, exploring every lead and everything that we can get.”
It turns out that the shooting was accidental. A woman had hidden the gun in her fat folds and snuck it by security, which didn’t detect with a hand-held wand. Later, it unintentionally discharged. ESPN reporter Peggy Kusinski revealed this startling and rather gross information in a recent X post.
Aside from the total strangeness of this incident, the more troubling aspect is that a gun could be hidden within someone’s fat folds.
Reports indicate that security failed to detect the weapon with hand-held metal detectors and couldn’t conduct a thorough search due to privacy concerns. It’s unsettling to consider that some obese person could smuggle a weapon into a crowded venue. This situation is yet another reason to stop with the “fat is beautiful” narrative.
Was she one of the two women injured? If so, the it should have been pretty obvious that she was the shooter from the powder burns if it was still “concealed”.
“Well, God, if you’re 5-foot-3 and you’re 300 pounds / Taxes ought not to pay for your bags of fudge rounds”
She had a pair of 38s...... and a real gun.
If it was a semi-auto, the spent casing had no where to eject and stove piped. I bet that burned.
That's not what the assessment was a couple days ago when it was estimated that it was shot from a mile away.
My question was how much energy did the bullet have when it finally hit the two patrons.
—”A herd of teachers.”
Second City cop is reporting it was a Chicago public school teacher with a suburban address.

Looks like he could hide an elephant there.
I wouldn’t want to be the cop who had to pat her down.
Yes. Stacey was my first thought.
She will have to be searched manually for a weapon, including 3D generated ones that don’t show on X-ray machines, at every theater or sports venue now.
By somebody.

(but this time walk away and resign as security officer).
Horrifying photo....
At this moment space aliens are making the decision on whether the human race is worth sparing or not. Keep pictures like that away from them.👽
They probably thought it came from far away because it was ‘muffled’.................🤢
Have they checked to see if Jimmy Hoffa might be there too?
That Hillary?.
My impression so far from poor quality images and uncertain reports is that they were a large group of obese people, many of whom were teachers.
A group of elephants= a herd or parade of elephants.
It could have been a Glock.
Not unless he was paid by the hour
BTTT
Not surprised. I guess the food flavored with some salty sweat and who knows what kind of bacteria might add a little more zing to the taste buds?
She was just looking for a star to bang.
