US Army vet Dynell Lane needed to use the bathroom at Serious Pizza in Dallas, Texas in the early morning hours of June 10. But two off-duty police officers, working security at the establishment, refused to let him.
According to The Dallas Morning news, “Many states — including Texas — have a restroom access law known as ‘Ally’s Law,’ which states people lawfully on the premises of an establishment should be allowed access to a restroom if they provide evidence they have a medical condition that requires immediate access to a toilet facility.”
Lane provided the officers with medical paperwork documenting his medical issues resulting from his deployment in the Middle East, yet still they refused. Lane then called 911 but officers did not arrive in time to mediate the situation and the wounded veteran wet himself.
This awful moment for a disabled military veteran left responding officers laughing and mocking the veteran in a disturbing interaction caught on video.
Not sure if true, but read a while back (probably in regard to Obama’s Color Revolutions) many people love their nation’s military, but hate their police forces. It makes obvious common sense.
> You’re upset that people are mean? <
I see your point. But I would not use the word “mean” here. Instead I would use the word “unprofessional”.
Doctors, police officers, professors, etc. are well-trained and well-paid. In return they are expected to behave in a professional manner, always.
Do these people sometimes slip up? Sure, we all do. Nevertheless, they should then be called out for it, every time. No excuses. No explaining it away.
As I noted earlier, this Dallas incident is particularly disturbing because the cops are laughing at an ugly incident they themselves caused.
It’s one thing to laugh at someone tripping on a banana peel. Sick humor. It’s worse when the laughing person caused the man to fall in the first place. That’s beyond just sick humor.
BINGO!
You can hear her saying, "You made him pee himself? hah" and later "he called back 911 and said he didn't need it anymore because he soiled..."
What kind of society even needs TWO police officers working private security at a pizza joint?
I'm normally a back the blue 100% guy. This time? Nope. What they did is digraceful and those officers should be FIRED.
It goes back to Clinton’s promise to put 100,000 new officers on the street and the standards were lowered bigly then and have continued to be lowered ever since.
I've been out with friends who are teachers who laugh at their students misfortune. Are they awful?
YES
No !
She claimed that she was going into her apartment but she was ON THE WRONG FLOOR and murdered Him.
They tried but she ended up in jail. Don’t know if she still is though, we might want to check it out...

Do these rotten police have no grandmothers, mothers or wives?
You just never leave your house if the visual of a person laughing at someone else makes you crumble like a cookie.
In uniform?
I'm not sure how it works in TX, but when I lived in AL, cops could do off-duty extra jobs in uniform.
I never said that, but people think it is acceptable to laugh at people in this situation are simply scum.
Everyone has a right to be scum, and I certainly would never deny a person’s right to assert their scumness.
It makes it easier to avoid them.
