Love me some good red wines!!! My tastes have changed from drinking Cabs most of the time to Merlot, Zins, blends and tempranillos!

I don’t drink much of anything but when I do it’s a nice merlot. However, ones blood pressure rises after wine, so I mostly stay away. The resveratrol in red wine is good for the heart but blood pressure rise isn’t. I buy resveratrol capsules instead of drinking the stuff.
No fun!

“Red Wine” covers so many different wines that it should be subdivided. Maybe even made into a “Red Wine Week”.
Ruby Port poached pears, Sangria, Beef Bourguignon, the recipes for red wine are voluminous. An ordinary grocery store has so many red wine labels that it’s downright confusing.

You got my mouth watering! There was one old vine Zinfandel I just couldn’t get enough of, I think it was Maggio Old Vine Zinfandel from California.
BUT those days are gone for me.
