Ukraine will repair the Kakhovka dam destroyed by the Russians at the beginning of June.

If we do not receive financial aid, then we will have to allocate a billion-billion and a half hryvnias [approximately US$27m to US$40.5m], I do not know the exact amount. But we must do this because people need water, because there will be no life there without this water.
Yes, we are working on alternative solutions, and some of them are ready but [there are still problems – ed.] in the city of Kryvyi Rih, in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, in the settlement of Marhanets…We are improvising to find temporary solutions but they are not comprehensive and long-lasting. So we will rebuild this dam.”
DETAILS: Recently Ihor Klymenko, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, stated that the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) cannot be repaired. 11 spans of the 28 spans of the upper part of the dam were destroyed as a result of a Russian terrorist attack.
Zelenskyy spoke about the necessity to repair the Kakhovka dam in the context of financial aid from other countries allocated to Ukraine for rebuilding and assistance.
He said that €50 billion over 4 years is not all funds the EU will allocate to Ukraine as this will not be enough for rebuilding.
Zelenskyy also hopes that many loans will be restructured, and stresses that the interest rate is not high.

It is quite common to fight for a couple of months on a line, and the it breaks open. Or a change in tactics permits a more effective gnawing thrpugh a defensive system.
As for casualties, make no assumtions, there is no trustworthy information on either sides losses.
Well ok, vehicle losses are much more trustworthy as there is video. Count those numbers if you like. But cumulative photo/video evidence is not on the Russian side. And vehicle losses on either side do not indicate human losses on the scale either side is claiming.
Perhaps the Ukrainians don’t want to live under the Russian boot again. I’m sure, by your logic, that you’d vilify Poland for defending itself if Russia invaded Poland.
Some people love their country, and are willing to give all to defend it against an existential threat. Perhaps, though, that is a conviction you do not understand.

Russia has 200k troops in reserve that haven’t been sent to Ukraine.
Ukraine has 65 brigades and only 25,000 or so in fully combat ready brigades.
Russia is taking 30,000 conscripts per month. They are actually increasing their military by 20-22,000 monthly.

Actually most troop carriers and Bradleys are usually full of troops when they are moving, so that would be a part of the. troop casualties. Also the Crimea Bridge is overated as barges and Ferries were used for 100 years between the land, and still is. So even if they cut off the land route, which is doubtful at the rate of advancement, they will Never get Crimea. At best, they may get nuked.

Navy formed a brigade of maritime drones

Ukrainian Naval Forces created a separate brigade of unmanned maritime drones.
On August 24, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy presented state awards and battle flags to Ukrainian units. One of the units that received its battle flag was 385th Separate Brigade of Special Purpose Marine Unmanned Complexes of Ukrainian Naval Forces.
It was the first mention of such a unit, and its creation wasn’t publicly announced. So, for the first time in the history of Ukrainian Navy, a brigade specialized for unmanned vessels was formed.
It is very likely that all Ukrainian attacks by unmanned marine time drones are conducted by the newly formed brigade, in cooperation with Ukrainian SBU and HUR MO.
