The Green N Deal is going to kill off the UAW.

It would be nice if we knew a few more details. What does a starting UAW member make (salary plus benefits)? What about one who’s been there 20 years?

Anyway, that union guy has a point about the “corporate elite”. Todays CEO’s are using the buddy system to loot their companies. That doesn’t make unreasonable union demands right! Instead, a pox on both their houses.

but, they can’t do that. What foreign auto manufacturer will they have to choose from to purchase that shiny new car?

One more reason to buy a Tesla. Only US automaker to go without a union!

Bidenomics.

Go woke and go broke.

This is the end of Biden’s cozy with the union’s rank and file.

Trump will win them all.

150,000 workers. In 1969 it was almost 1,000,000.

if that statement is the best that the union spokesperson could come up with, they don’t need any more raises

sorry, buddy, but class warfare is NOT American and (as a previous union leader and official I feel authorized to say) NOT a proper or persuasive way to justify or support the need for a wage demand. Not by a long-shot.

Meh. I have a hard time finding anything worth supporting on either side of this conflict.

Didn’t think I could care less than I do about the actor/writer strike, but it turns out I can.

No biggie.

Who can afford a new car.

Note to the rank and file: Decertify your union while you still have jobs to save.

For some models of cars there are hundreds of days of inventory on the lots. The UAW has picked the perfect time to strike from the perspective of the automakers. There will be no pressure from the public, no unfilled demand for cars and essentially no lost sales. There may be a few models in demand like Mustangs or Corvettes, but those buyers won’t mind waiting as those are not generally the daily driver cars. The only push to resolve the issue will be from the Democrats. We may see pressure like threats to tax bonuses or such but with demand so low there isn’t much I can see the President can bring to bear. So, strike!

UAW please go on strike and stay out forever!

Unions are parasites to any business, but not very smart ones. At least real parasites don’t try and kill their host while unions have no such restraints.

I was shocked a few years ago when the trend of a three year payment plan for a new car moved up to five years. I have no idea how long the plans are for today but can the average American afford the prices of a new car today?

Do UAW leadership know something we don’t? Going on strike against an industry that’s about to be nationalized?

Once upon a time the UAW represented a lot of Auto Workers and are now down to only 150,000, that should tell them something, but it doesn’t.

Maybe they can join forces with SAG and the WGA, what a deal that would be. LOL

I found out last night that the WGA has no Chief Counsel or a Chief Financial Officer for their strike and have a complete moron as their chief negotiator who knows absolutely nothing about what she is doing. They will not get anything they want except crumbs from the table.

All the big unions are striking now and if the democrats lose it will ensure inflation for the next president.

There are stacking all the desks to make you pay remember it isn’t Trump it’s you the democrats blame.

Like he said its not me they are after he’s right.
