Ahead of the first Republican presidential debate, former President Donald Trump's campaign team is trolling Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida even as the ex-president is set to skip the high-stakes event.
While hosting a group of political reporters at a steakhouse in Milwaukee, which will host the first debate, the Trump campaign handed out pudding snack packs, a reference to an article written by The Daily Beast's Jake Lahut and Zachary Petrizzo where DeSantis was said by two sources to have eaten a chocolate pudding dessert with three of his fingers.
Debate bingo cards were also distributed at the steakhouse as part of the Trump team's continued efforts to maintain the former president's dominance as the GOP presidential frontrunner. Some of the words and phrases on the bingo cards included: "Dismisses poll," "Ron defends slavery," "Gaslight covid record," and "nervous laugh."

Trump has destroyed any chance of DeSantis being the nominee in 2024 or 2028 but I don’t think he has won anyone who wasn’t already his supporter by his tactics.
In what way does this help DJT and us defeat Biden and liberalism? It doesn’t, in fact, it ONLY helps democrats.

It’s got to be a little boring to be on the campaign staff of a guy who basically won the campaign before he announced. They’ve got to keep themselves busy to stay out of trouble somehow.

Yep. The 2024 GOP primary is essentially over, as Trump’s lead is darn near insurmountable. So Mr. Trump, it’s time to pull the GOP together. Focus entirely on Biden and the Democrats, please.
This goes for the other GOP candidates as well! Chris Christie, shut you big mouth. Ron DeSantis, withdraw gracefully and appear at the next Trump rally. Etc.

It’s not like they made up AI generated fake images for ads, or created video clips that falsely claims desantis promotes radical lgbtq ideology...

Oh really? Not any of the endless stream of “conservatives” who promised they were with us and then immediately turned against us when they got to DC? None of them, eh?
