More proof that US sees Ukrainians as cannon fodder:
US-UK helped formulate a battle plan that "anticipated" Ukraine taking heavy losses. US-UK officials "envisioned Kyiv accepting the casualties as the cost of piercing through Russia’s main defensive line."
Instead, after suffering "major casualties... Ukraine chose to stem the losses on the battlefield."
US-UK "vision" requires Ukrainians to sacrifice themselves.

Got mittens?
This happens when Ukraine makes gains Russian news was not ready to counter. Now Russian state news is late getting out the officially acceptable narratives.
Which means, what is going on in Robotnye is making Shoigu and Gerasimov nervous about how to explain it in their next meeting with Putin.
Honestly, the decisive moment of this war was when Russia performed its second invasion of Ukraine. That is when the death started, the farmers and average people started to pay with blood. The rest has started to look more and more like WW1, with some slow loss of ground by the Russians.
The Russians have very good understanding of how to slow enemy progress, good defensive lines. Having some air superiority has benefitted them in the defense. The Russians offense limited their early objectives from being obtained, and is almost non-existent since Wagner departure. What little progress the Russians have made recently, is with huge losses, and then lost a few days later.
The Ukrainians, being more desperate and fewer in number have demonstrated far more innovation and tactical compromise. They have utilized what I call a ‘whap a mole’ technique of turning up in different areas and taking ground before Russian reinforcements. I personally don’t think that they will pursue a single ‘all in’ front, and that this may be just propaganda for the Russians to redeploy and react. The Ukrainians like to target supply routes and supplies, the more the Russians move the more that is exposed.
Ultimately we shall see.
