So far doesn’t look like it will impact Galveston. Dropped grandson off at Texas A& M Galveston last week so maybe just wishful thinking on my part.

I know if prayers are answered, many gulf coast residents will suffer.
But a hurricane will bring much needed relief to most of Texas which is under a State of Emergency due to severe drought conditions.

Too bad it won’t push the brutal High pressure center north or west.

Harlingen looks like it is right in the center of the prospective movement of the storm. Bill Haley should be OK, however.

Texas Ping, the Best State in the USA!
A ping out to the Texas Ping list, founded by Windflier.
Since California is having all the rainy fun this year, about time for Texas to enjoy some of that blessing water cycle tropical storm rain.
After all, hurricanes are one of the main ways that northern Mexico, south and west Texas, and all the way up into the northern Plains states get their annual moisture replenishment.
Another special Texas summer edition for your perusal.
As always, please FReepmail me if you want on or off the Texas Ping list.
 Blessings, and stay cool!

Nueces strip in Texas - the hurricanes push in tons of waters for a couple of days and when it ends it all goes running back out to the gulf.

NWS is saying that no impacts to DFW are impacted, unfortunately. 104+ for the next 7 days is the current prediction.
To: zeugma
The forecast models don’t look promising to produce Dallas effects.

Looping completely around and avoiding Central Texas. The 3+ year drought for us continues. Sigh.

One week the windmills aren’t turning because the 110 degree days were calm. The next week high speed tropical storm winds shut them down.
Is that a great generating technology or what?

The forecast models don’t look promising to produce Dallas effects. Yeah, that's why I recommend prayers. We could use a break.
