An elderly woman was brutally beaten and left unconscious on a Los Angeles street — where she was then robbed by a heartless passerby, sickening video shows.
Surveillance footage, captured by an MTA bus and released by the LAPD, shows the 86-year-old woman completely knocked out on a sidewalk in Adams-Normandie as people stand idly nearby.

I knew Adams-Normandie better 30 years ago (around time of Rodney King). It is one of those near-downtown neighborhoods where Central Americans have pushed out most of the blacks.

Most American cities have left civilization behind and have entered into a period of barbarism.
I remember the city. Downtown. Bustling with activity. My mother worked as a sales clerk in one of the major department stores. So did most of my aunts. Stores were open Thursday evenings. I worked downtown as a high-school kid. My grandmother used to take the bus downtown by herself, in spite of a very imperfect command of English.
Downtown was the place to be. I don’t remember any talk of crime.
Something happened. Those department stores folded and went to the large shopping centers. Ethnic areas were broken up. The people of European descent got the heck out. They were rapidly replaced. Soon, living in the city became hell.
I still drive through downtown every so often, remembering how it was. I would never do that at night. I don’t get out of the car.

The MTA in Los Angeles has a well-deserved reputation for violence and crime, including against the drivers.
Hardly anyone rides it. So, of course the city “leaders” want to invest more into it and expand it.
In the 1850’s there were well over 3,000,000 slaves in the US....
But not owned by the poorer farmers many blacks owned slaves after they bought their freedom.
I remember those stories about downtown from my own family - my mother said they wouldn’t go down there (on the red cars) unless they were dressed up. Beautiful and elegant.
I was down there not too long ago - some friends wanted to go to the old Clifton’s downtown (which I believe is now completely closed) - my mother remembered that place from the 30s - the sidewalks are still beautiful pink terrazzo - I can only imagine what it was like in the old days. Area is surrounded by filth, degradation and homelessness now.
If she voted for the dems then she voted for them to kill her. I have no more sympathy for this dem idiocy. Dems are EVIL. If you vote for it then do not ask for sympathy. You are a fool.
The time is coming when a number of Paul Kersey types from Death Wish will just take things to a Vigilante Level and that will be that.
