The names Audrey Hepburn and Holly Golightly have become
synonymous since this dazzling romantic
comedy was translated to the screen from Truman
Capote's best-selling novella. Holly is a
deliciously
eccentric New York City playgirl
determined to marry a Brazilian millionaire. George
Peppard plays her next-door neighbour, a writer who
is
"sponsored" by a wealthy Patricia Neal.
Guessing
who's the right man for Holly is easy.
Seeing just how that romance blossoms is one of the
enduring delights of this gem-like treat set to Henry
Mancini's Oscar®-winning score and the Oscar®-winning
Mancini-Johnny Mercer song "Moon River."

when she went to her prom she dressed just like her in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. She dressed up for a formal event the same way recently including the long gloves and I must say she did look stunning
WOW, my daughter did the very same thing! That movie made quite an impact on her. That was some years ago, she’s very happily married now.
The director caught some flak even back then, for casting Rooney in that part.
How to Steal a Million Dollars and Live Happily Ever After.
I love that movie. Audrey Hepburn, Peter O’Toole. Intrigue, romance, art, comedy, ingenious use of boomerang.
I used to have an explanation of my screen name on my profile page but it’s now a work in progress.I’m not even slightly gay...and I did fall in love with her during the first 10 minutes.
Did you know that Buddy Ebsen was originally supposed to be The Tin Man? Google it if you have time...it’s an interesting story.
“I’m not even slightly gay”
Given that you’re not a Ukraine Fanboi, it’s quite obvious that you must be straight...so I didn’t mean to imply it, even indirectly!
Great tune. There’s a nice little hat tip to Holly around 3:49 in the video :)

My wife still has the same haircut 40 years later.
