The problem with crossing that line....

DAs going after President Trump have now created the precedent that the door is open for prosecution.

Back in the last week of the Clinton presidency, there were concerns about the legal status of President Clinton once he left Washington. Could he have been indicted by, say Arkansas, for lying in a courtroom? In the end the issue was resolved and Clinton admitted wrongdoing, paid a fine and lost his law license. Maybe you remember the headline: In a Deal, Clinton Avoids Indictment.

Today, the Democrats have thrown the DoJ and now a Georgia DA at President Trump. Could this be a case of "be careful what you wish for"?

I found these comments very interesting by former senior Trump White House advisor Stephen Miller:

CHARLIE KIRK: You tweeted, "A Republican DA could indict both Biden and [DHS Secretary Alejandro] Mayorkas for human trafficking." Explain.

STEPHEN MILLER: Well it's an open and shut case. If you look at what's happening at the Southern border since January of 2021, you have both the conspiracy to violate the laws of the United States --- so a systematic conspiracy by Biden, Mayorkas, other officials in the government, [Attorney General Merrick] Garland would be involved in some of this too --- to violate the immigration laws of the United States, to enable illegal immigrants and the human traffickers and drug cartels who manage the border to bring in limited numbers of people and contraband into the United States.

You also have the suspension of ICE interior enforcement so most criminal aliens and virtually all illegal aliens are exempt from ICE enforcement. They are unable to arrest the overwhelming number of illegal aliens they would encounter on a daily basis, including those who are presently incarcerated in a prison or jail.

The Republican establishment (RINO’s) are all about NOT making any waves that might disturb the status quo which has been so beneficial to them. Corruption follows money and the largest river of money on this planet has Washington as its source.

This would require a CONSERVATIVE to win. Republicans will likely never sit in the Oval Office for a generation, and even if they did, it would be a RINO with no nerve or desire to go after former presidents.

America as an idea is dead. America as a nation doesn’t exist except in some hackneyed spirit that is also on life support. Globalism won. And they’re going to violently maintain power.

Trump indictments are not the work of an apolitical DOJ,
but of a salivating Democrat committee.

Not to provide justice, but to elect Biden.

They are colluding to rig the election
around a Democrat criminal conspiracy.
(Daniel Greenfield)

Yoo hoo, Fani.

One step to fix that game playing would be to criminally
prosecute those proven to have willfully violated the intent
of the law.

The Left is discussing using RICO to go after Climate Deniers. They’re just imagining the possibilities.

Our only hope is that the Supreme Court will shut down this indictment madness and restore common sense.

Dream on, buddy.

Our Republican friends are going to tell us the following:
“We need to let the legal process play out and (They always love to use this title!) Former President Trump will receive his day in court where he will be able to address the charges against him and present any evidence that he may have that may exonerate him. We as Republicans must respect the rule of law and let the legal system do it’s job without any interference because that’s how our system works. Also there are a minority of extreme voices that argue that we should weaponize the legal system and use it against the Democrats, not only would this undermine the rule of law and our democracy but also deny Republicans the ability to be a credible alternative to the Democrats. We believe that Mr. Trump’s legal issues will be all consuming to allow him to run a proper campaign and he should focus on his legal issues thus allowing Republicans field a proper candidate to offer an electable candidate for the 2024 election.”

McConnell is a useless hump.

The guy recently had a TIA, a Trans Ischemic Attack.

That’s a mini stroke and a warning that another more serious one is on the way at some point.

He needs to retire.
