Walker Art Center holds ‘playful demon summoning session’ for families

The Walker Art Center has received millions of dollars in taxpayer funds through Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

The Walker Art Center held a pagan ritual geared toward families last weekend, with a performance called “Lilit the Empathic Demon.”

“Demons have a bad reputation, but maybe we’re just not very good at getting to know them,” an event description reads.

The event, which took place at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, was part of the Walker’s Free First Saturdays program and featured artist Tamar Ettun who creates “demon traps.”

“Families are invited to create a vessel to trap the demon that knows them best — perhaps the ‘demon of overthinking’ — and then participate in a playful ceremony to summon and befriend their demon,” the website explains.

The event was designed for families, and finished with a “playful demon summoning session.”

“After designing your trap, Lilit the Empathic Demon will come from the dark side of the moon to lead you in locating your feelings using ancient Babylonian techniques,” the website explains. “This collective and playful demon summoning session will conclude with a somatic movement meditation, designed to help you befriend your shadows.”

Other Walker Art Center Free First Saturdays were 10,000 lakes and ’90s themed.

Ettun previously had her artwork, “How to Trap a Demon,” on display in New York at the Richard and Dolly Maass Gallery.

“The exhibition parts with the historical gender binarism that associates Lilith’s archetype with unchecked violence and manipulation; here, Lilit mediates the inner demons and renegade instincts that are deliberately silenced,” the exhibition details read. One image shows Ettun washing what appears to be a placenta with a watering can.

Ettun also has “Texts from Lilith” available for sale on her website. “31 cards to connect you to your demon,” it says.

Ettun encourages people to communicate with Lilit by texting “SUMMON” to 833-575-1049, according to an article on the Walker Art Center’s website. According to the article, the demon sends monthly messages with “demon drawings and somatic instructions.”

The article posted on the Walker’s website also explains how Ettun came up with this art project. “Lilit came to [Ettun] when she was at a residency, spending her days and nights in a haunted firehouse-turned-museum making knots and having just found out she was pregnant.”

The Walker Art Center has received millions of dollars in taxpayer funds through Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, which routinely funds projects with a left-wing agenda.

Anyone with any understanding of the spiritual realm knows you would never actively solicit the presence of demons.

Only an idiot or satanic helper would do this, encourage this, or attend this.

Being spiritually blind and ignorant is a dangerous condition. Entertaining the evil darkness is a trap to be avoided. Cling to the safety of the true God and the Savior Jesus Christ. Hell sucks and so does Texas in summer heat.

Someone posted about this tv show “Little Demon”. I didn’t believe it. I watched 5 minutes of it and was revolted. I can’t believe this aired on tv in America. Not the country I grew up in.

For those that have never experienced what it's like to be in the presence of Satan himself. Here's what I can tell you.

Terror. absolute, all encompassing, total destruction type terror. You can't outrun it, it chases you, it laughs at you and the whole time you know you're going to get caught.

The only way I escaped was through the blessings of our Lord, who stood in the doorway with an outstretched hand and asked "What are you doing?".

That has been over 30 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday.

So many people have learned how to drown out the convicting calls of the holy spirit. Theirs is a horrible horrible eternity.

Glad Christ convinced you to leave it. I had what folks call an “NDE”, near death experience (which I beleive was nothing more than misfiring neurons caused by extremely high fever and convulsions, because so e of the thi gs I experienced were not biblical at all) in my nde, i “dreamed” (i guess would be the right term- maybe hallucinated?) went not to heaven but to hell. The terror was extreme- overwhelming. It was so frightening that when I came to I grabbed the docs who were reviving me and told them about it and warned them to make sure they didn’t end up there. One doctor got angry and chastised my folks for “putting thoughts in my head and causing me to fear the unknown”.

Anyways- there’s more to the experience, but it’s enough to say that hell will be even worse than I “experienced” I’m sure, and Noone wants, or should want, anything to do with it. It will scare z person to death- but the only problem is that they can’t die- and it happens over and over and over.

This is madness. And it’s happening in various forms- across our country. It’s in climate change “solutions”, it’s in butchering children in the “trans community”, it’s in the DEI mandates in corporations and healthcare, it’s in covid lockdowns and closing schools, importing drugs to addict and kill. It’s in cheap goods from Temu and similar, in making professional sports political, in challenging comedians to be unfunny, making schools and churches woke...on and on.

There is NOT ONE single part of our culture that isn’t being dramatically distorted and changed into dark and soulless caricatures.

Amen, FRiend.

Hell sucks and so does Texas in summer heat.

I haven’t been to the former and have no intentions of ever doing so, but I live in the latter and yes. Yes, it does. 🥵

The Walker Art Center still thinks its the 60’s.
Most of the art shown there looks like something they did in my high school art class...back in the 60’s.

Ishtar has connections to Babylon, if you read the article this Lilit...also is connected to Babylon.

I do not know this information very well, but I think Lilit is Lilith, Adams first wife archeologically recorded.

Mine was a simple dream, but when I woke up.. WOW!

Sadly far too many just don't understand the overwhelming fear.

The experience I had shook me to the core. Efen 40 years later it still is unnerving. And yes, sadly too many people discount the warnings which are meant for their own good.
