Why not DeSantis? (Vanity)
08/16/2023 | Me, me, me

I could vote for the man, not over Trump or some others.

(But definitely over Christie, Hutchinson, Pence, Haley, Hurd, Scott)

Fill me in...Why is he fading? Personality? Policy positions? Political skills? All the above?

Like that’s unusual. He was born with a silver spoon, fork and knife in his yap.

You know, that makes sense. After all no one votes to be a stepping stone for a politician’s higher aspirations. Look at the overwhelming amount of Floridians who expected and deserved more than being used to futher his carreer.

This is very reminiscent but of his first gubernatorial campaign where he couldn't get out of his own way and Trump had to drag him across the finish line.

Tariffs aren’t to be used at a President’s discretion, else they are totalitarian abuse. Who’s to say the TAXES (which is what tariffs are) should be used for anything other than, reducing Federal Income Tax on citizens, as the founders intended? Farmers were Trump’s choice, but what about everyone else? Did anyone VOTE that the TAXES Trump was collecting should go to the farmers? No, Trump did that completely on his own.

As for the tax cuts, Trump simply signed the tax cut bill authored by Paul Ryan, and signed by the Republican Congress. Have you not seen all the countless videos of Trump singing Ryan’s praises back then? Cutting taxes is a Republican staple, Trump did nothing to author that bill, he simply signed what was presented.

“Freedom cities” is just Trump’s cute little mischaracterization of the WEF 15-minute city/prisons. No different than the “Affordable Care Act” or “Patriot Act” which snuck in horrible new changes. Rumors are the prospect of a new 15 minute city is why Maui burned to the ground.

“1+. Sympathy to Trump being indicted countless times now

2. Smeared by Trump supporters as a RINO

3. People want celebrities and BS/fast talkers now, who make politics “fun””

So it’s all Trumps fault? Even you can’t come up with a reason for DeSantis? What a great endorsement. Lmao

Obviously you didn't read the parent post. It said:

You will obviously believe as you desire.
Have a pleasant evening.
You do know that you are inventing as you go? Founders intended federal taxes to be reduced by tariffs. LOL.

The financial requirements of the Civil War prompted the first American income tax in 1861. At first, Congress placed a flat 3-percent tax on all incomes over $800 and later modified this principle to include a graduated tax.

“Governments impose tariffs to raise revenue, protect domestic industries, or exert political leverage over another country.”

It’s dishonest to post a 3 year old article and use a present tense verb to describe it.

That was the actual title of the article. All I posted was the title, and the link. Sorry if it was more than you could handle.

Well, he was polling as an Anybody but Trump #2 since polls for 2024 came out..

Then he waited. And waited. And waited.

Then the Durham Report comes out.

And pretty sure, DeJeb then says I’m in.

That’s a bowel movement move and he’s been a #2 ever since and #2 gets stinky if it isn’t flushed..

So, down he goes

Btw, I think Liddle Pence also jumped in after the Durham Report came out.
..

Two #2 moves that look really swampy to people watching Trump take all the crap since 2015.

I'll take the "full blown crazy Trump".
The "mini-Trump" is acceptable if he actually wins the Primary (I doubt it).

But the TDSers on here are really going overboard...

Fawning all over Trump, and constantly comparing him to a god-like existence, isn't going to help #1.

Thank you for pointing that out. That is a bit of insight that never would have occurred to anyone else.
