Have you seen or talked to any covid "bitter clingers" in 2023, just throwing the Obama phrase right back at them.
I still see a few people wearing masks alone in the car and in the supermarket
5m 20s to 8m 5s
2m 45s of vaxxer insanity.
That’s totally understandable.
Prayers up for his health.
My son just called me today and noticed activity at his dog’s veterinarian, so he pulled in the lot to observe.
He said the vet tech is still coming out to the car, masked, getting the dog from a masked client, and going back in, owner stays in parking lot.
I told him that’s a deal breaker and start looking for another vet, before he needs one and get the records.
There was one woman wearing one today at the outdoor Farmer’s Market in Hayden, ID. Gorgeous day, mid 70s, clear blue sky.
I have to confess that I wore a mask for a little while early last week. But I did have a valid reason. I caught COVID (shown on home test) and went to the ER for a confirmation test. They wanted me to mask up, but I did it even before entering the building as a courtesy to others. The confirmation test came back positive, too. I had moderate to bad cold symptoms, muscle aches for about three days and zero energy for about a week. All better now.
The only Clinger I know is Maxwell K. Clinger but he is not bitter.
I still see mask wearers. And it is SOOO tempting to ask if they’re going to wear them for the rest of their lives.
It was all propaganda from the beginning, and the “death and suffering” that was supposedly caused by COVID was a self fulfilling prophecy of propaganda and hypochondria mixed with the obligatory and expected increased death from depression, social isolation, addiction, alcoholism, and economic destruction.
The whole thing, in retrospect, looks fake. I think the field of virology lies somewhere between climate science and astrology, and is full of people in lab coats spouting nonsense; a Theranos situation, but covering an entire scientific discipline rather than just one company.
There are probably some good virologists, just like there are likely some good, honest climate scientists. But 99.9% just serve as servants for Big Pharma, pushing a line.
If you listen to virologists talk, it all sounds like BS anyways.
I haven’t mentioned my view to many people. But the ones I HAVE mentioned it to seem open to the possibility.
I’ve only masked a few times when covid was a new thing and no matter where you went a mask was required. I thought it was stupid.
On the flip side, I still inwardly cringe when I’m near someone that I know is vaccinated, especially if they are recently vaccinated. Not sure if shedding happens, but I don’t want to be anywhere near a covid vaccine.n
You can almost forgive the Asian people for wearing a mask. My wife is from China and I have been there to visit her family. All of the major cities have terrible air pollution. The sky of Shenyang, where she’s from, is a grungy yellowish brown most of the time.
I convinced her that she doesn’t need to wear a mask here.
If someone wearing a mask to possibly protect themselves from a deadly vascular/neuro invasive pathogen concocted in a biowarfare Fauci lab in China bothers you, you may want to ask why.
I’m at the point where I’m pretty certain that the best explanation for all of this is that there was no COVID. People were dying of influenza and other chest infection maladies, but there was no excess death. I think the Lab Leak Theory is a distraction.

Covid was just a flu, man made or not, that was given a name and a scary narrative as a vehicle to get people to take the killer vaccine. I agree there was no excessive death. What was not made up was just the regular flu that people died of every year..notice the “flu” disappeared during “covid”
I have thanked several for wearing their masks to prevent themselves from spreading some vile disease that they may have to me or the public in general.

The masks most people are wearing do not filter out a virus any more that a screen door keeps water out of a submarine.
The Walgreen’s chain is shutting down nationwide by the end of the year. I saw that CVS has the kits, too.
My son was sick last week and I took him to the doctor. They tested him for COVID. I asked if they are seeing much COVID these days, and he replied that that fad is over. He asked if my son was vaccinated for COVID and I said “No”. Under his breath the doctor said “Good”.
Thank you, Cuz.
Hell yeah. I work at a pharmacy in a blue area, and a few of our regulars (including one grotesquely obese patient who never takes off his N-95 mask, even though he can’t breathe and it’s 90° plus outside) are serious clingers to the government concept of COVID. The number of people asking, “Can I get anothet booster?!” is also absurd. Most of them ask well before the window for another is even open.
Brainwashing is a terrifying thing.
“ Brainwashing is a terrifying thing.”
I’ve noticed that you see very, very few masks in the red areas.
I go to furry conventions (it’s ok,
I play old cartoon clips etc). They
all mandate vaxxes (I got four) or proof
of a negative test.
Pittsburgh one in July—masks mandatory
but not too well enforced
Philly one in two weeks—masks only
required in dealer’s room/market
Boston one in Jan. : Masks will be
required.
It’s Covid-19. That’ll be in ‘24.
Some reaction on twitter/X
—Enough already!
—That’s good, I’m immuno-compromised
—Well I think I won’t go...
They’re claiming Boston could be
high risk, plus it’s winter
I host panels at these conventions.
The con said panel hosts were ok
to not wear them because we’d be far
enough away from the audience.
I played stuff (off laptop to
projector) like old Hamm’s Beer ads
to a funny Dudley Do Right (”Stokey
the Bear”)
13,000 attended the convention
in Pittsburgh and from what I saw
it was not a super spreader event.
And yes some did wear costume heads.
Asians still wear them alot and some crackers too. I also have work associates who will never admit how stupidly wrong they were. They have a definite lack of curiosity regarding the last few years.
