People who refer to it like that have no clue. The Sportster an American classic icon. The model was introduced in 1957, making the Sportster the longest-running model in Harley Davidson history.
You don’t produce a model that many years unless a whole lot of people like them and buy them.
Btw, it’s only known a “Girls” bike by wannabe purist who like to pretend they know all about HD’s. And I’ve had nearly all the Harleys, including “Stump pullers” like 1941 ULH 80” Flathead side valve, pans, shovels etc.

I now check the Bud Light section in the WD where I shop! Nearly no sales! Coors Lite sales appear to be brisk though. I know I’ve switched to Coors Lite. Hope alls good with you M!
