It is becoming obvious to 'me' that abortion is the one thing that is making elections these days. I think this wedge issue may in fact be the one issue that will keep Trump or the GOP nominee out of office.
Is there enough support on the right to bend one the issue?
I’d like winning for a change. Since trump and abortion, we’ve lost a ton of seats. Yes the four seat majority in the house was a fluke in New York that they are correcting for 2024.
We'll get our @$$es kicked in 2024 and Trump will be on the ballot.

In fact, since political speech cannot be censored, I believe the gop prolife candidates should run ads depicting an ultrasound of an abortion. let the pro abortion “moderates” defend abortion.
That'll help a little. But as long as we're on the subject, every white woman in a city or suburb near you is going to vote for the democratic ticket, even if it is a Republican area like Kansas or Ohio.
you are correct- i know liberal and conservative women where this is their issue.
It is no longer a federal issue. It is a state issue. The state legislatures need to own it locally, not a faceless, heartless behemoth federal government.
Can we really assume that all liberal parents have liberal children? Or the conservative parents will have conservative children?
I know quite a few people who don’t agree with their parents politically. Some are more conservative than liberal leaning parents
abortion was not banned... it was left to the states to decide. the GOP should let the people know this and those young females can move to those states.
Yet, I’m certain plenty of freepers have plenty of white women in their lives besides themselves that would never vote Democrat.

I don’t think the founding fathers prevented women from voting as such , so much as in that era , women didn’t have the same rights as men.
In politics or war, there are appropriate times to push for a strategic breakthrough. 2023-2024 does not seem to be one of those times.
Leftists knew that socialized healthcare, as an example, would never pass outright, so they slowly tried to get the public to accept Obama-nation-care as a first step, and are continuing to push it step by step.
Conservatives should regroup and realize that a direct frontal pro-life legislative push won’t work with the current masses of ignorant, indoctrinated voters.
Andrew Breitbart noted that politics is always downstream of culture. It’s a long slog, but once enough young people have been educated on the abominations of feticide, e.g. by looking both at ultrasounds of live babies and graphic photos of dismemberment, support for the practice will eventually fade.

I believe that Social Security is causing great harm to our society, but I know that is unpopular and am fine for the right to keep quiet on that. It is not a moral imperative.
