Right down there with “Plan 9 from Outer Space” as one of the worst movies of all time IMO.
I was forced to go see this with a girlfriend at the time. Siting through it took an act of super human will power. My application for sainthood is still pending. \_(**)_/

HA! I see what you're doing here. I did like the chair/water scene. Which I found to be the only "artistic" moment. ;O)
My sympathy. There seems to be no end to the male capacity for suffering for the sake of a harmonious relationship. But, gentleman, we shall persevere.
I never liked this movie. The resort hotel where it was filmed has Dirty Dancing weekends.

There was a thread the other day, in which people were talking about how much complaining and negativity there is on Free Republic.
It wasn’t a discussion about any particular issue that I recall. But the comments evolved into discussions about how people here are much quicker to criticize people and situations, rather than having anything positive to say.
My new wife of two days dragged me to see “Of Mice and Men” talk about Kill Me Now! I was so bored I went to sleep but she was enthralled because she is an avid reader or classic books. I bided my time and then made her go with me to something I knew she would detest: “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.” I’m not really a NASCAR or fan of this type movie, but I knew I would get a reaction. She came out thoroughly disgusted and I said, yeah I know the feeling, sort of like I felt coming out of “Of Mice and Men” which got me a nasty look of derision. It was worth the wait.
I have watched this SO many times, and own the DVD. The story line is goofy, but I love the dancing.
So they were complaining about the complaining?
