With kids going back to school on the horizon, health is an important topic to keep fresh in mind as they get into tighter spaces with other kids.
Dr. Joan Thode said the flu, COVID-19, colds and strep throat are all illnesses that are prone to be in schools.

There’s no preventing disease completely. The article lists toxic advice that Fauci would approve of:
“It’s recommended to stay up to date on your flu vaccines and coronavirus booster shots to decrease the severity of illness if any of the diseases are contracted.”
Eat healthy, exercise, get good sleep, wash hands, take zinc, magnesium, and Vitamin D.
(I don’t know if children should take those)

Throughout the Plandemic, the 'public health' officals at the CDC never passed out free Zinc/Magnesium and Vitamin D. Never taught the public about how much they help. If we HAD a true public health agency, we'd all know whether we, or children, should have them and the circumstances when they must be avoided. Claims for Vitamin D and Zinc were always safer and better for the public than claims made for an 'experimental' 'shot'.
Kids need to be outside in the sunshine rather than hiding out in the dark rooms with their noses in phones.
Spray the door knobs, wipe the counters take immune system supplements.
On my sax players advice (who is an MD) - If possible avoid grocery stores with pharmacies. I took that advice about 10 years ago and it’s been good advice. My annual colds tapered off significantly.
I certainly agree with that.
That’s right.
Pound of dirt is vital for long term health.
Isn’t all the illnesses of childhood the building blocks of a strong adult immune system?
“avoid grocery stores with pharmacies”
I can’t figure out why. Any idea why he recommended that?
I noticed that my cold frequency dropped WAY off after I retired to the point I actually went three full years without any respiratory illness at all.
We went on an Alaskan cruise last week up the Inside Passage. Left Seattle, stopped at Juneau, Skagway and Victoria, BC. We drove to Seattle on Friday July 21 morning and the ship departed Friday afternoon. I think 4,000 passengers aboard plus another several hundred crew from 79 countries. There were six in our party.
By Wednesday, four of us were starting to get a sore throat. I hit mine with Betadine (povidone iodine) gargle which I gave to my daughter as well. By Thursday, our daughter had lost her voice.
We docked back at Seattle Friday morning and by Saturday I was feeling poorly, but it felt like a cold. Then my sense of smell went kaput (as did my wife’s) and I felt worse. I noticed I couldn’t smell the fresh ground coffee on Sunday (nor could my wife). I took a COVID test late Monday and it was positive; my wife’s two tests were negative. I went to Urgent Care on Tuesday, took another test and it confirmed positive. I got a prescription for Paxlovid. Today I feel almost 100% fine. Never once had a fever.
The past couple years, my wife took only Vitamin D while I took the full prophylaxis protocol from the beginning - C, D, quercetin, zinc, NAC, aspirin, nigella sativa (blacked oil), and melatonin.
My wife and I are twice vaxed and once boosted. Our daughter and her husband (mid 30s) never got the vax nor took any supplements. Neither of them took a COVID test for this bout. My wife and I are early 70s. Everybody is healthy and active.
Today we are all well. There are different approaches with the four of us, but the outcome was the same for everybody. Go figure. Maybe being in our 70s, the outcome would have been a lot worse for my wife and I without the vax and single booster. Who knows.
Easy.
Homeschool.
Then your kids won’t be at risk for TB, leprosy, malaria, or any of a number of imported tropical diseases.
Well said.
EmergenC. Raspberry flavor with bacon and eggs.
Rubella, mumps, whooping cough, polio, tetanus, and many other illnesses are all things that should be immunized against, as they can be deadly but are preventable.
The clot shot and most flu vaccines are at best useless, but many can cause unpleasant side effects. I personally am just getting over the side effects of a simple flu shot from 7 years ago.
The college demo had a less than 0.02% case-fatality.
Yes, WGAL, your “news” is irrelevant.
When we went to school kids built robust immune systems playing outside in sun or mud, catch bugs, hunt, fish, play with pets, etc... Now most kids are slathered in sanitizer living indoors staring at screens all day. They never get a chance build up an immune system.
Look at the countries with the most covid cases. All western sanitized worlds. We didn’t hear much about African dumps or India getting massive cases.

Give your kids some Ivermectin, zinc and Vit D3 and don’t worry about it.
“I can’t figure out why. Any idea why he recommended that?”
He recommended to avoid grocery stores with pharmacies because people go to those pharmacies when they’re sick... to get their prescriptions filled. Creates an environment of unnecessary exposure that can be easily avoided.
