Joe Rogan cracked open a can of Bud Light and took a sip — defying calls to boycott the beer over its tie-up with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
Rogan began his wildly popular Spotify podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” on Tuesday by welcoming his guest, country music star Zach Bryan, with a toast in which they both raised cans of Bud Light.
“We’re drinking Bud Light, ladies and gentlemen,” Rogan declared at the start of the three-hour broadcast.
Rogan, anticipating fury from his many conservative-leaning listeners, offered a sarcastic apology.
“Sooooorry,” he exhaled.
“People are silly,” Rogan added.
Bryan, who received backlash online after he defended Bud Light and Mulvaney, also commented on the expected reaction on social media, adding: “We’re f–ked.”
“There’s nothing wrong with it,” replied the standup comedian and MMA announcer, whose podcast commands an audience that numbers an estimated 11 million listeners. I tried listening to his podcast a few times but there was so much foul language I stopped....a real turn off for me.
Yes. Mine too. Fat Tire isn’t bad but my wife always suggests I’m getting a beer belly if I drink it. She’s highly influenced by advertising of anything. If they called it “Anorexic Amber” she would swear I lost weight.
Far too many people worship Rogan.
I will give him credit, in that, he lets the guests actually talk. He isn’t constantly cutting them off and trying to lead the discussion so as to avoid topics or issues, like the tools on Fox do.
He interviews people. They are allowed to curse. They are allowed to joke around.
That doesn’t make Rogan anymore special than anyone else with a podcast.
Rogan thinks he’s too cool and righteous to speak with Trump but he brags about being a Budguzzler. Now, THAT is silly.
+1000 !
Women and their logic…
Maybe there’s a cocaine monkey beer…
Joe must have attended the Republican training seminar:
“How to steal defeat out of the jaws of victory.”
Didn’t know he rolled that way.
Hipsters never know when they might have to ship their beer to India.
Even if one wanted to “support” whatever cause, the beer is awful. Why drink it? So many other great, or even just not-really-bad beer choices.
Try a plain-jane Spaten.
Bud Lite lived off of really great marketing. Just like that other crapola beer “Tastes Great; Less Filling” Miller Lite.
It tastes like Piss, Joe.
Joe Rogan has a calloused tongue.
Rogan is a whore. No doubt a big payday for him when an apology would have cost AB nothing
I suspect a lot of those fools griping about the boycott of Bud Light, the Queer Beer, are probably stock holders... the money over integrity crowd.
Did Joe Rogan get paid by Queer Beer or is he just stepping out of the closet?
I think I’ll make up a few fake labels for “Well Hung Beast” Ale, and paste them over my Yuengling Lager labels.
See, now you’re thinking...
Founded in 1829
Well, he has no taste in beer.
Once again, they are mistakenly calling this a ‘boycott’, when it is actually a successful rebranding.
He’s right, people are silly, and queers are right at the top of the list, look at Admiral Rachael ... good grief!
