UM - you have to stop, to that extent, lionising Zelenskyy.

The way I see it from here across the border from Ukraine - the ordinary Ukrainians are the heroes - if tomorrow Zelenskyy goes, the Ukrainians are still going to keep fighting for their loved ones.

This is not exactly Churchill who was calling out since the 1930s about the dangers of Hitler. And there were British politicians who were considering setting up spheres of interest with the Germans.

Zelenskyy has done great and his initial decision not to flee is what triggered the great Ukrainian sentiment, but let’s not lionize him to that extent.

Why? Because the Putinistas think this is “Zelenskyy’s war” or that “if Zelenskyy is gone, this war will end” — and I’m telling you it is nothing like that - this is Putin’s war v/s ordinary Ukrainian people

No. I absolutely agree with your position. Just as if George Washington had died we would still have fought the American Revolution for national freedom.

I totally admire the people of Ukraine for their great courage to face this invasion of their homeland by Putin and their resiliency to meet the consequences of to the personal destruction for families, communities and government infrastructure.

Also, consideration must be given to appreciate or ‘lionize’ President Zelenskyy for his important leadership. The demands of his presidency must address all internal infrastructure as well as direct the dynamic change for Ukraine transition into the a new international political position. His presidency incorporates a most ‘dynamic political war on ‘two fronts.’

Those detractors that would twist the concept of freedom for Ukraine by Ukrainians will continue to disparage their fight for freedom. Their only to function as distractors from the cause of this military invasion: Putin.
