Hunter Biden was seen looking crestfallen as a cameraman followed the First Son onto the tarmac at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles early Friday after his plea deal sensationally collapsed.
Biden's 'sweetheart' deal over two misdemeanor tax charges blew up in court Wednesday because it contained a feature that appeared designed to impose guardrails against efforts by a potential Donald Trump administration to overturn it.
The president's son, 53, arrived at the airport about 36 hours after pleading not guilty at around 1 a.m. local time, looking dejected.
He was joined by a friend in a mustard sweater and at least one cameraman, supposedly filming him for a documentary being made by lawyer and so-called 'sugar brother' Kevin Morris.
Biden left the airport in a two-car motorcade that drove away from the tarmac within minutes of arriving.
The plea deal was set to see Biden plead guilty on two misdemeanor tax charges and a gun charge before it dramatically unraveled in federal court Wednesday, putting Hunter back in the spotlight.
U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika repeatedly torched parts of the agreement during a three-hour hearing in her Wilmington courtroom.
Among the provisions she railed against was a paragraph on any potential breach of the deal to defer prosecution on a gun charge – and who would decide if Hunter was found to have violated it.
Normally, prosecutors would make the determination. But under the language pushed by Hunter's team, if the government believes there is a 'knowing material breach' of the agreement, it would seek a determination by the U.S. District Judge in Delaware – Noreika.
They would seek a determination based on a 'preponderance of the evidence,' and if they get one could prosecute for perjury, obstruction of justice, or other criminal violations.
The judge called the deal...

Here’s what has to happen:
As many charges as even imaginable must be filed against Hunter Biden and right away, to keep the StOfLimit from expiring.
But who will file them?
Garland, Monaco Wilkinson and Weiss must appear before House committees to answer question and explain their actions.
Yeah, sure. Like yesterday.
But here’s the rub- what if they refuse? Where do you go?
Biden has no respect for the Supreme Court. His efforts to destroy free speech through collusion with social media has been exposed.
Or Garland can just assert that justice is being pursued and squash the case by letting it die on the vine.
Is there even a single honest person in the DOJ?
We are soon to find out......... because all roads now lead to Joe Biden.
“looking dejected”
Nothing a hit of coke can’t cure...lol.
So they are spinning it this way: "All they were trying to do was protect Hunter from the vengeance of The Evil Trump!"
The judge is just pretending to be sympathetic to Hunter so when she throws the book at him, they will be less opportunity to claim she is biased against him. The leftists will still claim she is biased, but tough shit.
Daily Mail is trying hard to do damage control for Biden’s.
Both are in deep dooo.
The key points of this were ignored by the Daily Mail.
I hope you’re correct.
<><>Hunter got a Million dollars peddling influence to foreign adversaries.
<><>He didn’t agree to make an overdue $25,000 payment to the IRS.
<><>The Filing said he spent the entire Million on “Entertainment.”
He’s 53 years old, drives a luxury Porsche, lives in the pricey Hollywood Hills......
and doesnt even have a Job......although he is a renowned painter (snx).
COMMENTS I personally feel the judge is rightfully holding her cards close to her vest.
After the boloxed plea deal, the “Save Hunter
Defense/Prosecution Team” don’t know what to expect next.
I’ll bet they are in for an even greater surprise.
.
Prediction.
I predict Judge is inundated by Delaware Colleagues - and runs home to their adoration and love.
I can post four other cases - and the Federal Judges just went on and on about the damage and ravages to the country due to this white collar crime (like not registering under FARA).
It’s totally absent here. She asked questions - and the two sides started bickering, she took a recess so they could come together.
Then she apologizes to Criminal Hunter Biden
.
.
Who’s going to charge him?
The DoJ worked on a Saturday to imprison yet another Hunter Biden associate just before they’re scheduled to testify to Overnight Committee.
Sure looks like, ala Chris Wray, they don’t believe there is any Oversight authority.
.
Hunter should get on TV and do ads:
“Just say yes to drugs. I do.”
;-)
Maybe he will do the USA a favor and OD.
The judge is rightfully holding her cards close to her vest.
Agree Hunters lawyers tried to make a fool of her like she didn’t understand loopholes.
Hope she burns him.

The Constitution grants presidents nearly unchecked power to pardon federal crimes — meaning that Biden, 80, could effectively end the turbulent years-long criminal case involving his son, 53, with the stroke of a pen.
However, such a decision would ignite intense political blowback.
The only president known to have pardoned an immediate family member convicted of a crime is Bill Clinton, who in his final hours before leaving office in January 2001 expunged his younger half-brother Roger’s mid-1980s conviction on a charge of conspiring to distribute cocaine.
Salon reporter Brian Karem was told in a press briefing that Hunter didn’t receive “favorable treatment” from his dad’s Justice Department.
But two IRS whistleblowers said Biden-appointed US attorneys in Los Angeles and Washington, DC blocked charges against the first son, leading to what assistant US attorney Leo Wise repeatedly admitted in court Wednesday was an unprecedented plea deal.
Hunter Biden’s sweetheart plea deal falling apart in stunning turn of events ......
Joe Biden repeatedly interacted with his son’s foreign business partners — including from China, Mexico, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine.
One of Hunter’s closest American associates, Devon Archer, is expected to testify to the House Oversight Committee Monday and explain that Hunter regularly put his then-vice president dad on speaker phone during meetings with his foreign partners.
Hunter’s plea deal to two tax misdemeanors and a gun possession felony would have been expunged after two years.
But US District Judge Maryellen Noreika rejected Hunter’s plea deal on Wednesday after it became clear that the first son’s lawyers and the Justice Department held starkly different views on whether the deal would prevent the feds from charging Hunter with other past crimes, such as allegedly violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
The sides will appear again in court in 30 days to discuss next steps.
Law school 101......dont lie to a judge......but making a fool of her is right up there.
.
I disagree.
The Judge asked a couple basic questions and that started the dispute between Hunter and his assigned DoJ boys.
Are you aware she ruled against the Laptop repair man - and Hunter’s team has made the unprecedented request for her alone to rule on this contract and deal - and any future ruling of him violating, not showing for drug tests, or committing more Crimes - where that has always been the exclusive purview of the Prosecutors.
For some reason, Hunter’s team wants her in charge of everything.
She has no commentary on his crimes?
That’s not what we see with Federal Judges in cases tied to National Politics, as evidenced with Stone, Flynn, etc.
Sure, what you outline that was “the plan”........
but this case has turned into a tornado of conflicting issues.
“The Delaware Way” may not work the way it used to.
Amen
