I recently had some issues with an independent seller on Amazon. Finally worked it out but it was tedious. Now on, I will only use Amazon Prime.

I’ve never had a problem with Amazon returns.
I recently received an extremely damaged box. Two of the three items it was supposed to contain were present, but damaged. One of them only had damage in the packaging but the item was intact, so I kept it. The other was terribly warped, so I returned it. I have already received a replacement for both the damaged item and the missing item.
Another item I ordered was supposed to arrive by July 21. Amazon gave me a refund a couple of days ago, even though I didn’t ask for one.
I’m trying to think of when I’ve ever had a problem with Amazon. I just can’t think of any. They’ve always been helpful and proactive when there is a problem with an order.
I suggest you wash your shorts in hot water and then put them in the dryer on high to shrink them. How do you alter shorts that are too big? To alter shorts that are too big, you will want to tailor the waist or the thighs of your shorts. Also, you can use hot water and hot air to shrink your shorts

No dealing with wrong item size color shipping time not worth the trouble.

I have never had a problem. Lost track of how many items I have returned. Maybe it was UPS’s fault.
I have always had good luck with returning anything to Amazon. Just recently I ordered 4 water filters for my refrigerator and I did not realize till I received them, I had ordered the wrong ones. They sent me a return for UPS and credited the order as soon as they received them.
Well, there is always TEMU. Try that one out for size. No pun intended.

I only have problems with people like the OP who draw grand conclusions from one-time happenings.
Never had a problem with Amazon on returns or anything at all. All slight problems were resolved w a phone call. Seems there are mostly Filipinos at their call centers, and they are always very nice (the women with their pleasant voices) and competent.
