As if you didn't need another reason NOT to fly Spirit airlines.
My son recently took a road trip to Las Vegas (about a five hour drive) - the heat has been brutal in the Southwest with predicted temps of 115+ - and the a/c on his car is faulty.
He checked the airline prices out of LAX and found Spirit airlines tickets for $68/roundtrip - for other airlines it was in the $250. Range.
He said he’d drive and suffer the heat rather than suffer on Spirit airlines even though the flight is only an hour.
geez...at least grab a puke bag...they’re waterproof.
why not just skip the trip until the heat breaks.

I’m guessing the woman was mortified by what happened, but would rather pee on the plane than wet her pants. Poor thing. Said she held it for two hours...

The woman said that the stewards would not allow her to use the laboratory for 2 hours. I have the impression that the plane was on the ground with the passengers on it for 2 hours.
Sorry, I think that airlines’ doing this is unconscionable. If they need to repair the plane, they should do it before they let the passengers on. If they find the problem after loading, then let the passengers off until the problem is fixed.

Actually the Greyhound buses are far better.
Buses were recently upgraded - daughter took one back to college (against my wishes) - she said it was very nice, comfortable, clean had good Internet...
Spirit Airlines OTOH...
Back in my air-cooled VW days, I traveled at night as much as possible during the summer.
Even Greyhound riders know better than to fly Spirit or the other budget airlines. You meet a better class of people on a Hound.
Speerit Airlines.
