My son recently took a road trip to Las Vegas (about a five hour drive) - the heat has been brutal in the Southwest with predicted temps of 115+ - and the a/c on his car is faulty.
He checked the airline prices out of LAX and found Spirit airlines tickets for $68/roundtrip - for other airlines it was in the $250. Range.
He said he’d drive and suffer the heat rather than suffer on Spirit airlines even though the flight is only an hour.
why not just skip the trip until the heat breaks.
Back in my air-cooled VW days, I traveled at night as much as possible during the summer.
