That is known as ethnic cleansing, something Russians have practiced for generations.

Which is why I mentioned it as a future possibility, if “sensible” people in the West have their way in Ukraine. Not to mention, the Orcs will rearm and build up their war chests and come again as long as Putrid Putin and his sort are in power.

“Very few folks today give a crap what Stalin did 90 years ago.”

Au contraire. Ukrainians very much “give a crap” about what Stalin did. Your comment is akin to saying that Jews today don’t “give a crap” what Hitler did 80 years ago. Such democides are not soon forgotten.

Do you have an example of Jews trying to ‘purify’ their land of Germans?

Consider it silly if you want; still, it’s not the ravings of Hitler (to which he is often compared) nor the senile pants-soilings orf the Kiddie-Sniffer-in-Chief.

I think that was his way of warning that the US (and Clown World) tends to stab their partners in the back, or discard them, once they’re no longer useful for CURRENT THING™.

And how many in our State Department have any clue of the history of the region going back to before World War 2?

"The end of the Soviet Union and the Communist Bloc."

Ronald Reagan did that, not the proxy wars and wasted lives. And then the U.S. turned into a third-world Commie crap hole.

Do Afghanistan and Nicaragua, as well as Iran and Iraq, during the Reagan years not count?

"Proxy wars."

Yeah, I'd say they were since we were funneling money to partisan groups to overthrow so-called dictators, so new, and better dictators could be installed to run the countries. When since WWII has the U.S. sent money, weapons, and man power to defeat an "enemy", and that country actually came out the better for it?

"Poland, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, Moldova, Hungary, and Slovakia."

When Reagan defeated communism in Europe, those people got their countries back. Almost 75 years of proxy wars with Russia and China didn't accomplish that. And what good did it do us? The communists took this country over, and we have our own little socialist union here in America.

You misunderstand.

I believe we are UNITED in shared ‘Core Values.’ Freepers typically have “touchpoints” we agreements upon: patriotism, conservatism, and often share traditional values. On F.R., there is no contest.

However, perhaps perhaps you are correct. Maybe, only some Freepers want freedom for nations of former USSR by stopping the political manipulation of Putin from re-taking control through continuing his progression invasions of ‘free’ nations.

THIS IS EXACTLY why we share information and dialogue on FR to develop a more complete awareness of the various topics. I may not agree with an opinion, but certainly it is wrong to denigrate another Freeper over holding a different interpretation of an issue. Every Freeper is an individual with freedom of thought and expression. I am not dictating a viewpoint. Each Freeper individual responsibility is to process information and develop their own point of view.

PUTIN
There is nothing in Putin’s history to reference him as a benevolent dictator. Putin has served continuously as president or prime minister since 1999: prime minister from 1999 - 2000 president 2008 - 2012, and as president from 2000 to 2008 and since 2012. Basically, Putin is just old KGB & will eliminate by assassination anyone, anywhere for his political convenience. For example, similar to the KGB that utilized any means to disrupt opposition, Putin usees any method to embed his agents.

Putin began his transnational repression of foreign governments. After his 2000 election, Putin began his ‘Transnational Repression’ policy. Russia would stalk, intimidate, or assault independent nations.

For example, the Republic of Georgia declared its independence in early 1991 when the Soviet Union dissolved. Russia with his manipulated Georgian self-proclaimed republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. The de facto control of Russian-backed but internationally unrecognized separatists South Ossetian forces started shelling Georgian villages on 1 August 2008.

SOME Russian troops had illicitly crossed the Georgia–Russia border through the Roki Tunnel MOVING into the South Ossetian conflict zone by 7 August before the Georgian military response. Then, Russia falsely accused Georgia of committing “genocide” and “aggression against South Ossetia” and began a full-scale land, air and sea invasion of Georgia, including its undisputed territory, on 8 August calling it a “peace enforcement” operation. However, the occupation of Georgian territories is insufficient to shift Georgia’s foreign policy agenda. So, the long-term strategy is to gradually take controlof Georgian territories through its “borderization” policy. This entails the expansion of already illegally occupied zones by pushing the so-called Administrative Border Line further into Georgian territory.

BTW. in 2021, the European Court of Human Rights ruled that Russia maintained “direct control” over the separatist regions and was responsible for grave human rights abuses taking place there. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for three Russian nationals because of war crimes against ethnic Georgians during the conflict.

NOTE the similarities with Ukraine?

Under Putin policies, Russia is like transitional cell carcinoma using invasion pathways. As CA uses lymphatic and blood vessel invasion, Putin uses embedded agents &/or military to invade foreign nations to develop control of government systems. Without a doubt, the corruption of Ukraine government also began with agents embedded in government positions under Putin control.

Putin, Obama, Clinton and Biden are corrupt without a doubt!

Putin, Obama, Clinton and Biden used the Russian corrupted government within Ukraine to “money-launder.” As such, President Zelenskyy is not just attacking a physical ‘hot’ war with military. He also must wage a political war with the Russian deep-state within Ukraine. Frankly, many believe he is doing very well with both.

**I write in haste please forgive typos etc LOL

Oh yeah? I'm pretty sure that Reagan would wholeheartedly disagree if he was alive today.

Whatever has happened so far is very limited. The gloves are coming off.
The way my comment makes sense is that a few limited reports in the past does not equate Ukraine and West being baited into mainstreaming cluster munitions making the Russians on par - the US lied in past about Russian use.

In the 12 hours Russia broke thru 5 km on one front. This is area reporting 900 tanks 100k new troops.

A captured soldier will say damned near anything.

The Russians will kill all those Nazis they refere themselves to as nationalists.

That 100k 900 tank force is moving and took 5km east as of 12 hours ago... with one Uke brigade being rushed up to hold new lines.

FJB and the Uke’s who got in bed with him.
