The 49-rupee ($0.60) pizza in India, Domino's No.1 market outside America, is the tip of the spear in its fight against rampant inflation that's squeezing profits and pricing out many customers, according to the CEO of its franchisee there.
The company wants to "own that price point", said Sameer Khetarpal, confirming the stripped down, seven-inch cheese pizza with a "sprinkle" of basil and parsley is Domino's cheapest anywhere.

The 60 cents does not include tax or delivery fee or a gratuity for the three wheeled bicycle delivery driver.

Well, I imagine that meat is not available as a topping. Veggie pizzas better be cheap.
You can double meat if you want it’s really easy (double portion) or multiple toppings of course. Same with veggies I like shrooms
Sorry, but you’d have to pay me WAY more than $.60 to eat a bite of Dominos, even in this country, much less made in feces laden water endemic to India.
I like mine with extra rat.
Note that you won’t find genuine sausage or pepperoni on a Domino’s pizza in India because they’re afraid they might offend the Muhammadans. Yes, I’ve tried it. No, I didn’t like it.
Also note that the McDonald’s in India sell something called a McVeggie burger (no, I didn’t try it) but there’s no real beef on the menu, because Hindus run the place.
It might be different down near Goa because that area once was dominated by the Portuguese, so there’s lots of Catholic Indians down there who’ll eat either beef or pork every chance they get. But I’ve not been there, so that’s mostly speculation, but Goa does have steak houses.
Is the dough made with potable water or river water? Well, seems you did survive.
Using Walmart prices that’d be about 24 cents for flour and 21 cents for cheese. With wholesale prices they’re making a profit on that 60 cents.
Do they even sell one that small over here?
