Saw this movie when it came out back in 81....................
Harryhousen’s finale. Film is a good watch though a little hard to take The Penguin as Ammon
So did I - at the drive-in. (no longer there now; such a shame.
We saw it with friends at a walk-in at a mall in Maryland.
It was raining that night and on the way we were involved in a small accident at a traffic light when a car slid into the intersection we were crossing and hit us slightly, but very little damage....................
Good movie.
The gods were stingy on special equipment. Only one of things from what I remember.
Great flick as a kid.
It wasn’t my car, I was a passenger...............
Brings back memories of a prank someone played at our local theater, back when movie titles were displayed with plastic letters on a marquee. Someone climbed up on the marquee, removed the “AN” from TITANS, and slid the S to the left.
I saw the 1981 version, and when I saw the more recent version I laughed, because when the warriors were outfitting themselves for their quest to slay Medusa, one asked another “should we take this along?” and another said “no, leave it”-it was the mechanical Bubo from the 1981 version.
Me too. In Kansas City, MO at the end of a road trip from central IL, west across IA, north then west to Black Hills and Mt. Rushmore, south through Wyoming, then west across KS.
We went completely around the state of Nebraska, but moved to NE a few weeks later (for a job opportunity).
I remember the movie as being “cheesy”. Not really my style.
Should be fun when Hollywood makes, yet another, reboot. Perseus will be Zeus’ non binary daughter who fell in love with a queer drag queen who must be saved from the evil UltraMAGA Titan.
Ditto. Thought it was pretty cool. But then we watched another movie right after that ... Raiders of the Lost Ark. After watching that, we laughed at Clash.
That sounds like an interesting movie too.
I watched this movie several times, and enjoyed it. I read that it was Hamlin’s attempt to establish himself as a masculine hero after his role as a predatory gay man in a movie that I seem to remember was titled “Making Love.”
