Can Concerned Parents Stop Schools from Grooming Children?

A century ago, Mexico proved concerned parents can stop public schools from grooming their children.

Parental involvement with schools is essential to stop kids from being sexually corrupted. Yet, many parents do nothing because they fear being cancelled on social media, called homophobes, or raided by the FBI. Others naïvely believe their kids are immune to the woke indoctrination process. However, there is an example from a century ago in Mexico that proves concerned parents can stop public schools from grooming their children. This virtually unknown incident followed the 1910-1920 Mexican Revolution and provides parents of today some encouragement.

This horrid episode was reported from eyewitness accounts in the 1936 book Mexican Martyrdom. When the new anti-God socialist government gained control in Mexico, Catholic churches and schools were closed and replaced with new socialist-run public schools. However, many concerned parents did not want their kids indoctrinated with this godless doctrine and placed them in underground (home) schools (often run by clergy who could risk execution). In some regions fewer than 35% of children showed up at these socialist schools.

When the elected Mexican dictator, General Plutarco Elías Calles, learned of this, he decided to enter into what he termed “the psychological revolutionary period” to take possession of the minds of the children. The current more sophisticated equivalent is mass formation psychosis. He ruled that children belong to the Revolution, not to the parents (sounds familiar) and immediately directed his Secretary of Education, Narciso Bassols to separate them and introduce a “modern” system of sexual education designed to corrupt children’s sexual morality and thereby undermine the influence of traditional families that are resistant to socialist indoctrination.

So it seems the socialists/communists have been like this for a long time. But I bet Mexico did not have transgenderism.

Absolutely they can.

Possibly Reason No. 1 to homeschool.

Michigan has a felony law “Accosting a Minor for Sexual Purposes”
It should be used.
Educators don’t get a pass just because “muh curriculum” is approved by the Union and backed by the local school board.
They both should be held ‘complicit’ for that.

I do recommend making reports to the local sheriff as the municipal cops have a conflict of interest

Certainly, a parent can stop schools from grooming their child. All it requires is a visit to the principal’s office, close the door, and give a very brief talk, offering just one outcome.

We probably can’t stop public schools from grooming children, but any parent can stop them from grooming THEIR children by homeschooling or private schooling.

Likely.
But, if they ignore their own laws, it only invites civilian justice to be meted out.
It \will\ happen.

As Michael Matt discusses every week in his Remnant video, the atheistic Communist takeover is a problem much worse today because the Church has also lost its moorings, having been co-opted by Communists. This time the Communists did their homework and undermined and corrupted the Church, the very institution whose job it would be to provide religious guidance to the children. Thus parents are alone today, left to teach both religion and conventional school education to their children. The Communist government is clearly the enemy, trying its damnedest to corrupt and capture the minds of the current generation of children. Parents are the last stop.

This is why they pushed for publicly funded education to begin with.

Defund Government Schools. Vote against every millage or tax measure that funds public schools. Let your local school boards and news sources know what you’re doing and why.

And by the way “vouchers” is an unacceptable answer, and not a solution. Tax measures apply to everyone, whether they have children of school age or not. If vouchers are given, the tax will be raised to cover the loss to the government schools.

Defund the leftist, union-driven indoctrination centers they persist in calling “schools”.

Half the parents are socialists themselves, so it makes this more difficult. It wouldn’t be an issue if we had universal school choice.

I read the article this morning. It mentions sincere dedication by the Mexican people: to the point of teachers losing their lives and churches setting up underground schools (presumably for free).

Forgive me, but I just don't believe Americans today are that dedicated.

As a young child in school I remember teachers warning us about child molesters. Now the teachers ARE the child molesters.

“We probably can’t stop public schools from grooming children...”

Yes they can. The curriculum in public schools, or any that are accredited ones, is under the control of the states and local boards and taxpayers. If the parents decide as a majority they do not want anything taught within the school they can go to the board and demand it be discontinued. And the horsepower to get that done is in the ballot box. Decades of research have made one thing clear: parental involvement in education improves student attendance, social skills and behavior. It also helps children adapt better to school.

Determinations about students’ curriculums have traditionally been made by local governments. This permitted communities some flexibility in teaching the skills necessary to succeed in the local society and economy. And since the determination fo the curriculum is at the states’ level, and not the feds, the wishes of the parents can be easily assisted by the local government if the people within it are informed that their job is on the line if they do not do the job of by the people, for the people.

The feds fund approximately 7% of the money to schools throughout the country. The rest comes from state and local taxpayer funds. The rest is common sense to the politicians at the local level if they wish to remain employed and not embarrassed until they are booted.

Same here. Third Grade. Even then, I was horrified and repulsed by the creepiness it implied.
