I happened to see today that they did a re-make of this movie.

Why does Hollywood keep remaking good, old movies? Don’t they have any new ideas?

True Grit remake sucks.

Same with TRON Legacy.

The remake of True Grit by the Coen Bfos. was done quite a few years ago, and was quite good. MattDamon, Josh Brolin, Haylee Steinfeld.

They don't seem to. Not only that, they don't seem to know about millions of great novels that could be made into movies. Then look: The writers strike because they aren't getting enough money for retread scripts.

#3 The remake was all mumbles by Jeff Bridges
Practically a word for word remake of the best except Bridges mumbled the lines. I guess he thought he was Marlon Brando.

He was going to win an oscar no matter what just so the democrats could try to erase John Wayne.
John Wayne’s version is still the better of the two by far.
