A young North Carolina woman is suing the medical team that put her on testosterone at age 17 and surgically removed her breasts the next year, saying she was fast-tracked into transgender care for profit when she really needed therapy.
Prisha Mosley, 25, says she was confused and battling mental health problems when clinicians suggested cross-sex hormones and a double breast removal after brief consultations, one lasting only minutes.
In her 53-page complaint, she says her doctors 'lied', including by saying testosterone jabs would solve her problems and make her 'grow a penis.' She has since decided to 'detransition' and live as a woman, and seeks financial damages.
The treatments left irreversible scars, she says, including a deep voice, body and facial hair, pain in her neck and shoulders, a damaged vagina, and she will not be able to breastfeed and may be infertile.
She is just the latest detransitioner to take legal action against her doctors, in lawsuits that could prove pivotal in America's heated debate about transgender rights and medical procedures, especially those on children.
'They lied when they told Mosley she was actually a boy; they lied when they told her that injecting testosterone into her body would solve her numerous, profound mental and psychological health problems,' says the complaint.
'They lied by omission, withholding critical information from her about the long-term adverse health consequences and permanent damage these treatments would cause her, and failing to inform her of alternative courses of treatment for her psychological problems.'
Her papers were filed at the Superior Court in Gaston County late on Monday.

I highly doubt they told her that and I know these people are pushing their agenda.
Trust me, I learned years ago (before being “trans” was the new thing and there was a trans kid behind every bush) that the gender clinics were full of crap. Only one doctor was telling the truth, Dr. Kenneth Zucker, one of the world’s leading experts on sexual development issues. He got run out of his own clinic by a pack of liars. He was subsequently vindicated in court.
I was lucky enough to track him down at his private practice in Canada for help with my own child. Unlike the special snowflakes, my child’s condition was based on an incurable endocrine defect (which drives sexual and brain development).
Having been on the front line of this for almost a decade now, I can state unequivocally that there is no justifiable medical reason to transition children, ever. The affirmation approach was pushed in 2016, when they changed the guidelines and removed Dr. Zucker’s input (he treated almost all cases as mental conditions and wanted extensive endocrinology labs).
Nowadays, they don’t even run basic labs to see if it’s a hormonal imbalance.
It’s lunacy.
Mutilators for hire, not doctors.
If a doctor prescribed liposuction or diet pills to an anexoric, he'd lose his license and be thrown in prison. His hospital would settle out of court for so many millions that they'd never allow it again.
Surgically mutilating someone with Gender Dysphoria is no different.

And at the time, if they had denied her, she would have pitched a fit and maybe sued them.
It’s a lose/lose scenario for the doctors.
The government/law is playing both sides of this sh1t.
First govt encourages kids to be screwed up.
Then govt declares it child abuse if you don’t pay for the surgery or try to get them help.
Then govt says they can sue if people give them the surgery.
This is not a tenable situation and its all on government. All of,it.
More of these coming - and this will encourage those who feel “all alone” to also come out.
The Left will probably call them “self-hating transgenders.”

This is not the first time I’ve heard stories like this. Does not matter if it’s male to female or female to male. The delusion is just beyond belief. They think once they have had this surgery they will actually be the opposite sex. That episode of “South Park” with Mr. Garrison was more real than people think. Remember Mr. Garrison actually thought he could get pregnant and that is why he was not having a period. Up until that point he really believed he was a real woman. When the abortionist told him the truth it burst his bubble. That is how these kids are, they are Mr. Garrison from South Park before he realized he was just a man with no dick.
The only way I can possibly relate to that maintained self delusion is from a long ago memory.
When I was about 7, I hear this ‘crazy’ rumor that there actually was no Santa Claus! The more I thought about it, the more likely the rumors were true. I recall feeling equally shocked and embarrassed that my parents had aided and abetted the falsehood all those many years! But, to whom could I express my ‘horror’? Nobody, really. No kid wanted to be the last little idiot who hadn’t already stopped believing.

Years ago a ***** lawyer who ambulance-chased a bunch of OBYGYNs and hospitals with malpractice lawsuits found out that her own OBYGYN dropped her as a patient when she decided to start a family, and as this was in some bedroom town, it was a long, long drive for her to find a doctor who would treat her sorry ass. Literally all the doctors in that small community refused to see any woman for anything to do with pregnancy.
