Recently, Arizona Republican Eli Crane was rebuked for referring to “people of color” as “colored people.”
That’s a controversy which would, at any other time in the history of the English language, be incomprehensible to a sensible reader. After all, there’s no practical difference in the phrases. In fact, the choice to give preference to the phrase “people of color” is worse than practically useless to an English speaker -- it’s needlessly more burdensome to both the talker and the listener.
Consider this formula with any other trait. Would you refer to yourself as a “person of dark hair,”

Many years ago, we were presented with a political coalition called LGB (lesbian, gay, bisexual), which later became LGBT somewhere in the 1990s to include transexuals. This later became LGBTQ, then LGBTQIA in recent years.
Back in March of 2022, when ESPN analysts protested a Florida bill which prohibits K-3 instruction regarding sexuality (with which nearly two-of-three Americans openly agree), the announcer referenced the coalition as “LGBTQIA+.”
That is eight, count ‘em, eight syllables that people are expected to speak whenever referencing this expanding group of supposedly marginalized people who, outside of their unusual sexual proclivities and/or peculiar means of self-identification, are otherwise completely unrelated. But that ridiculous acronym has quickly became the standard in professing one’s progressive bona fides here in America.
And yet -- there seems to be no consensus on the basic meaning of some of the letters of the acronym we’re meant to profess and chant in unison each June. Does the Q stand for “queer,” or “questioning?” Does the A stand for “asexual” or “allies?” It all seems to very much depend on whom you ask.

These labels are part of the overall picture: “marginalized” people have now become dominant over normal people.
Normal people are now subject to their new masters, who can get them fired or thrown in jail, and who claim the right to their money and property.
Exactly right! I was anti-this-vax and will probably be anti-future-vax unless it’s actually a life-or-death situation like smallpox or polio. I have been labeled anti-vax. Not true. I just don’t trust now like I did pre-Covid.

Thanks for that. My wife and I both remain without the Biden-approved jab, and no worse for wear. Some in the extended family got the mRNA "safe and effective" jabs, and then a Covid infection (according to their tests) and one has had three recurrences of the "effective"-protected illness (Or the flu / cold). We've avoided none of these in the extended family even when "ill," and are regularly bolstered with God-shining vitamin D and plenty of C and other good things of which the CDC has warned against....

Same happened in my family. My daughter, SIL, and granddaughter took the vax. Daughter and SIL both got Covid shortly after. My daughter just had emergency surgery for a gallbladder attack and has been sick since she had the vax with long covid. All of my siblings had natural covid but got the vax anyway. My baby sister has had covid three times since the vax. One sister-in-law has too. My husband and I have been around them and neither of us have been sick. He’s almost 85.
The lefties/Democrats have lost most of America. So they go through the alphabet to create their little rag-tag coalition of misfits and add that to their already pathetic voting base.

As some have observed, in real science, anecdotes amass to data and evidence. The evidence I has seen throughout the "pandemic" is that the WHO, CDC, China, the EU, FDA and more have falsified "data" and disregarded evidence to produce outright marketing for the big pharma companies.
And out the other end of the Covid "event," the predicted 3.4 percent mortality rate per year has been demonstrably calculated to be a minor 0,087 percent mortality over more than three years.
Your anecdote -- a datum as evidence -- and ours jive more with the real numbers, while the "jabbed" seem to have become more susceptible to respiratory disease.
My daughter’s asthma is much worse now than before the vax. She is having to take breathing treatments she wasn’t taking before. I also have asthma and my doctor tried to pressure me into taking it, but I refused. She even said, “It’s people like you that won’t be vaccinated that are spreading the variants.” How does that even work? I still wouldn’t take it. LOL
I prefer the simple and direct response - GFY. I’m not talking about saying the letters, I say ALL THREE WORDS clearly, distinctly, and at a somewhat elevated volume.
As the little puke is groping for a response, I look them dead in the eye, then up and down, Laugh Out Loud and say, You aren’t worth the effort. Then just walk away. Funny as hell to look back seeing them melt down!!!
And if I really want to be immature, a bit of Crop Dusting sends a clear message too. I’m way beyond sick and tired of these pukes!!
