A first year (1846) boomer, I owned just one of these, an Olds 442. I also owned two others that SHOULD be on the list: a ‘63 turbocharged Corvair Spyder, and a ‘64 365 hp Corvette. I’m a long-retired GM engineer (still practicing automotive engineering), so my choice of GM is obvious. I still own and drive a couple of Corvettes. They’re old, but not ‘60s vintage.
1846?
You served in the Civil War?...................
A friend of mine has a Turbo Charged Corvair!..............
There’s a guy on YouTube with a channel you might like called Rare Classic Cars & Automotive History. He’s a GM exec of some sort, a finance guy apparently, but he’s huge into the engineering and design aspects and what’s really cool is that he occasionally interviews the engineers and stylists (mainly the stylists) from back in the day — the guys who actually penned the great classic designs of the ‘60s and ‘70s. He also has a current GM stylist on as a regular guest who gives pro insights into those designs.
That is probably the best looking care of the muscle car era.
I can’t wait for their Electric Retro Model!.................😉
My friend Gordy had a one. We called it the Gordoba!
Went to this car collection last week, nice personal collection, one of the best:

Magnificent! I’d be happy with just one of the specimens!
