You do realize, that each theater likely has its own HVAC unit right? Go look at google earth and look at the roof of your local multiplex, those rectangular things on the roof, those are individual HVAC units.. you will see that there are typically many of them on the roof, usually if you count them, more than 1 per theater.
Folks need to stop the conspiracy theory on this.

I agree, some rogue employee here and there perhaps, but more likely these reports are just normal issues with HVAC systems out of 2852 theaters some are going to have problems.
Those that did, some folks thinking conspiracy go to the internet and post, and then right wing sights looking for content pick it up and run with it.
The odds of some grand conspiracy, just don’t pass the fundamental smell test.
I can see some low level grunt here and there perhaps playing games in individual theaters, but the idea that this is some grand conspiracy at the corporate level? Not very likely at all.
2852 theaters, a certain number of those are just going to have problems.. and yes folks go look at the roof of your local multiplex on google maps with satellite mode, and you will see that most multiplexes have individual hvac systems per theater... so no, it wouldn’t be unusual that 1 theater lost its HVAC while others are working fine.
The owners don't, but the "woke" liberal employees who don't care if a theater makes money will put their ideology ahead of the interests of the theater owners.

AC breaks, especially in summer when it works harder. My favorite theater had the AC break in one of the rooms a few weeks ago. Was that some conspiracy against whatever movie they were showing there? Or just bad luck.
I don’t think anybody is “experiencing” any of this. They just love to feel persecuted so when anything goes wrong they insist it’s some grand plan against them. Meanwhile, back in reality, if they didn’t want the movie to succeed they just wouldn’t have shown. There’s really no reason to do anything more complicated than say no to the distributor.

Christians MUST climb to the tops of the 7 Mountains of Society that has been conquered by Satan!!!! Government, Religion, Family, Education, Entertainment, Media and the Economy. The AMC theatre I went to, once had an ac issue while we watched a christian movie. After the movie, they gave us all a free ticket to come back for any movie. So, not sure if they can give money back.
Oddly enough, I can think of a legitimate reason for this. The reports are that the film is consistently selling out. Especially in the remaining wake of COVID having kept people away from theaters, and the impact on regular system maintenance that may have had, the A/C units may simply not be capable of handling the significant increase in collective body heat registered by thermostats in packed auditoriums.
Which is not to say that the sabotage theory isn’t worth examining.
