In the US we have been building a really good economy, and the base of it is a war machine. If it works so well in America, why not in Russia? Instead of weakening the economy, it will grow it. If it works here it will work there kinda thing.

Actually, this is just government disinformation. Yahoo is just another hand of the DS/WEF/NWO

And we are cannibalizing our military to keep the war in Ukraine humming.

Billions of dollars are wasted, US war stockpiles are dangerously depleted, tens of thousands of Ukrainians are dying while Biden and NATO block any negotiated settlement because they are losing the war and don’t want to face up to account for the damage, death and destruction they have enabled to no good purpose

FWIW these same economists probably also say WW2 war machine production ended the depression.

““The wheels of justice turn slowly, but grind exceedingly fine””

That is quite ominous for our economy if you give it a little thought.

The wheels of justice turn slowly, but grind exceedingly fine

In the USA, that's:

The wheels of JustUs turn slowly, but grind the innocent exceedingly fine.

Economic warfare doesn’t work until and if it does. In WWI, the British blockade of Germany slowly starved that country. After years of draconian rationing, people started dying because of famine and exhaustion and the diseases these bring on. Perhaps 5 to 800,000. This was a big reason why support for the war collapsed.

Now, let’s be realistic. Russia is in nowhere as bad shape as Germany toward the end of WWI. This war is going to end in some kind of stalemate (like the Korean War ended), either at the current front lines or where the front lines might be moved in the next few months or at most a year.

The Ukrainians want an opportunity to regain their territory, and are willing to do the fighting, but they would have no chance without material support from the west. Nor could they hold whatever are the front lines without U.S. and other troops backing up their troops. Russia will attack again. That’s what Russia does. So, the Ukrainians have to recognize this has to be a joint decision.

The border between the west and Russia will be like the border between North and South Korea. (BTW, South Korea isn’t part of NATO.) It will be an armed border until such time, if ever, that Russia figures out that invading other countries isn’t an option. Being realistic about that, that won’t happen any time soon.

No Putin Fan. But any study from any Ivy League school is suspect. Hell, that’s true about any “study” these days.

More lies from the Biden regime...The sanction war has been an abysmal failure. The West suffered and Russia has recovered and no longer needs the West.

https://tass.com/economy/1642671

MOSCOW, July 5. /TASS/. Russia’s economy is stably recovering, with GDP growth having reached 0.6% in the first five months of this year, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.

"The country’s economy keeps stably, I would say, recovering despite sanctions <…> Russia’s GDP growth totaled 0.6% in the [first] five months, and what is very important, 5.4% in May year-on-year," he said.

Ukraine's Offensive Suffering Heavy Losses, Azov Commanders Return

Update on the conflict in Ukraine for July 9, 2023:

- Ukraine’s offensive is headed toward week 6 - at one and a half months, Ukraine still has not breached any of Russia’s primary defense lines;

- The US and its allies are attempting to replace lost Ukrainian equipment amid the ongoing offensive;

- The US is sending an unspecified number of 155mm cluster munitions due to a shortage of 155mm artillery ammunition;

- The US is also sending additional 155mm artillery pieces as Ukraine suffers heavy losses of equipment amid its now 5 week-long offensive;

- The US is also sending additional Bradley and Stryker vehicles in its most recent assistance package;

- Ukraine’s Swedish-equipped brigade demonstrates how even before officially becoming a NATO member, Sweden is seamlessly complicit in NATO wars and proxy wars;

- Discussed “security guarantees” for Ukraine are simply ways of rephrasing existing support and another example of NATO weakness spun as “strength;”

- Western media hails Azov leaders’ return to Ukraine despite previous coverage of their extremist ideologies;
