Eoin O’Faodhagain, from Co Donegal, was monitoring a webcam of the loch when he saw movement in the water
The Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register hasn’t recorded a new entry since October 11, 2022 Jaw-dropping footage reveals “the first Nessie sighting of 2023” after a mysterious presence “too big” to be a fish was recorded in the water. Veteran Nessie hunter Eoin O’Faodhagain was monitoring a webcam of the loch when he spotted something that he “couldn’t believe”.
In two clips captured roughly seven minutes apart, something stirs in the loch, seen first as a long, dark shape near the surface, then as a wake on the water.

“In the first video clip, something moves on the surface for a couple of seconds then you see two shadowy wakes moving in two lines under the surface.
“It probably moves left like this for about 15 feet then it is gone.
“The second unusual occurrence happened slightly further out in the loch – you see a large white round disturbance on the surface.

It is too big and the water is too agitated.”
He added: “You may not see a body, but there’s definite movement in the water that cannot be explained by natural occurrences.”
Mr O’Faodhagain, 58, estimates the wake is six to eight feet long.
“But nobody will ever know what the true size is hidden under the water, to cause such a wake in the first place,” he said.
“Something is causing these wakes, that we are not seeing.

“This image is very large on the water, and it looked so out of place.”
The sighting was captured at Shoreland Lodges, near Fort Augustus on the loch’s southern shore, using a webcam maintained there by Visit Inverness Loch Ness.
It comes after a months-long drought of Loch Ness monster activity.
The Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register hasn’t recorded a new entry since October 11 last year.
And though the register’s rules prevent some webcam sightings from being accepted, even those have been scarce.
Eoin is perhaps the most prolific source of webcam sightings, often logging on to watch the water from his home in Co Donegal, but he hadn’t spotted anything since November.
“In the last few months I have seen nothing like this to even record,” he said.
“I suspect it is the same animal in both images – I think you would be foolish not to, especially after seeing nothing for months.”
Gee, who knew?...I thought it was that only Irishmen see leprechauns and that only the Scottish see the Loch Ness Monster.
Have they alerted Sir Curt Godfrey of The Nessie Alliance?
The photo looks likes a log floating in the lake. I went to the site that has the video footage and it says the server does not exist. So I went to Youtube:

Is this lousy footage all we get?
I say it is a log. Watch out for the log, it’ll take out your boat!
It's better than bad, it's good.
That’s just a reflection of a UFO hovering over the lake.
Sheesh.
Are you sure it isn’t Mothra?
He had to do something now that the BanSHEes went non-binary.
How old is Nessie now?
Say his name three times real fast.
LOL! There is much going on with that hole at the bottom of the sea. I was hoping to read about a mermaid with legs that would have spiced up that hole real good.
A satellite in outer space can see how much mustard you put on your hot dog, but never a clear picture of Nessie, big foot, UFO, etc
And if you don't mind, we'll be having a touch of Jameson in celebration of this latest sighting.
Well, I don't think they can live in fresh water, but, whale sharks reputedly can get to 60 ft. long...
I’m pretty sure that’s an underwater UFO
It’s certainly fuzzy enough to be
Beat me to it. Maybe the dark knight satellite knows.
