Baris thinks desantis campaign one of the worse one's he's ever seen.
Charlie thinks upwards of $1 billion will be spent on the primary.
Both agree most candidates are running for their own reasons, and that was not to win and beat the democrats.
I think it’s because they want DeSantis to try and keep Trump down, but they don’t want DeSantis to represent his constituents. We can smell the insincerity a mile away and are staying aware from it.
I think that sums it up pretty well.

What DeSantis has to do is win a Senate seat, and then show he’s MAGA. Short of that, there’s no redemption.
When people only knew him as Governor, he was very much a possibility because he’s done a great job.
Unfortunately, the President is a grade too high and it’s come out in the campaign.
The thing he cannot overcome: The people love Trump and think he was ripped off. Instead of lining up to support that truth, DeSantis tried to tear Trump down to snake him out of 2024.

Short answer:
Flailing because a campaign of “I’m just like the guy you really want, but better” is the dumbest campaign messaging ever.
Flailing because it’s abundantly clear that the above messaging, as bad as it is, isn’t even true. Just another establishment politician who, when push comes to shove will do what the globalist/Uniparty/establishment want him to do.
And no there is no turning it around.
Desantis was a fool to think that this wasn’t going to be a net loss for him long term

The best DeSantis can do is to prepare for the debates.

If Trump doesn’t attend the debates and holds his own event counter to them, no one will be watching the debates.
The reality is simple, Trump have 60%+ support, all other candidates are just scrapping each other for what part of the remainder they will get.
By now we know what Trump is, he doesn’t need more debates.
Do you trumpers hear yourselves when you blatantly call for the end of the American system of presidential primary debates so your candidate can simply waltz into the nomination? Honestly, do you look in the mirror and ask yourself why you’re so obsessed with him that you would gladly abandon the American electoral process?
Debates amongst Republicans are used by the MSM to make all Republicans look bad. The RNC always allows moderators who are loyal to the Democrats run them.
Anyway, as much as I like DeSantis I am intrigued by Vivek more every day. I welcome debates to see who the real Conservatives are.
