A large shark came very close to swimmers at Navarre Beach in the Florida panhandle on Monday.
The sighting was caught on camera by Cristy Cox who said the shark was chasing a school of fish. In the video, people are heard yelling to others to get out of the water.
Experts say shark sightings are more common in June than any other month because they like to come close to the shore to hunt.

If you ever get a chance, do a chopper fly over along the beaches sometime. You’ll see that the sharks are all over the place. ๐ณ

Anyone spending any time at all swimming in the ocean has been a lot closer to a shark than they think. ๐
