Christian actor Jim Caviezel has revealed that Disney executives told him to remove all references to God from the script of one of his hit movies.
Caviezel, one of the rare vocal Christians in Hollywood, gave a behind-the-scenes insight into working with Disney during a new interview.
The humble star played Edmond Dantes in an adaptation of the Alexandre Dumas novel “The Count of Monte Cristo.”
During the making of the hit movie, Caviezel recalled finding himself battling Disney executives over references to God and Christianity, according to Newsbusters.
“They wanted me to remove ‘God’ from all the script,” he explained.
“True story … what happened to God? ‘God will give me justice,’” Caviezel added, quoting the book.
“I had to say, ‘No, I can’t do this,’” he said.
The response from the Disney execs was classic liberal Hollywood.
“Disney said, ‘Oh, so you’re one of those?’” he recalled.
“I said, ‘One of those what? One of those who rewrite Alexandre Dumas? One of those who rewrite Shakespeare? because that’s essentially what you did,’” he said.
“So I held my ground, and by God, they backed off,” he said.
Caviezel said believers have to be “strong Christians like that, to hold the ground when you have to, to say, ‘We’re not buying that product anymore.’”
Being strong includes standing up against media lies, he said.
He then continued by blasting the corporate media for covering up for Democrats while endlessly smearing President Donald Trump.
“Hunter Biden laptop, two years, you told us, not true … then it’s true,” he said.
“For seven years, we learn that Donald Trump is a Russian spy … Durham report drops … He’s not a Russian spy.”

Caviezel has a new movie out called “Sound of Freedom.”
In the film, he plays a federal agent who quits his job to fight child traffickers.
As he played his part, he said, “I was thinking about my own children,” according to Fox News.
“My wife and I adopted three children from China,” he said.
“And I was well aware … of the problems and dangers that children face globally.”
Caviezel said that “300,000 children under the age of 18 were lured into the sex trafficking business in the United States.
“We are the biggest consumers of child trafficking and pornography in the world,” he explained.
“The United States — the home of the free, land of the brave.
“This is ridiculous. And so the film is a threat.”
According to the Catholic News Agency, Caviezel said he wants moviegoers to leave the film with “a new heart.”
“A heart that’s not afraid,” he said.
“I was praying the other day, and I said, ‘Can we love God’s children more than we fear evil? Can we love Jesus more than we fear the cross?’
“And this is the problem right now with modern-day Christians is that we want the easy route.
“And right now you see the world changing.
You’re going to have to make a decision at some point.
“There’s good, there’s evil.
“But a big part of that evil is those that are sitting on the fence.
“And we have to make a choice.
“And some are more leaning towards Jesus, more towards good, some are more leaning towards the evil, but they’re on that fence, and that fence belongs to the evil one.
“And so we have to make that decision.”
Got to know about Jim when watching that series “Person of Interest”. Fascinating man!
I didn't watch the video to hear the alleged mispronunciation. However, for the French writer Alexander Dumas, if using the native French, then "Dumas" is pronounced "Doo-mah."
From wiki: "Alexandre Dumas (UK: /ˈdjuːmɑː, dʊˈmɑː/, US: /duːˈmɑː/; French: [alɛksɑ̃dʁ dymɑ]; born Dumas Davy de la Pailleterie ([dymɑ davi də la pajət(ə)ʁi]), 24 July 1802 – 5 December 1870),[1][2] also known as Alexandre Dumas père,[note 1] was a French novelist and playwright. "
Or did I miss something here?
There was a reason Jesus singled out ‘harm to children’ in his Sermon on the Mount.................
He’s ok. I’d rather be adopted his children from the United States though. He’s into diversity nonsense apparently. Buy a child from China. Many do. He joined Madonna and crew Who buy children overseas.
Yes. This is the Left. I had a funny story from about fifteen years ago, in my work, I would do testing of medical systems, so we had to have test patients we created.
I live in the bluest of blue states, and a woman I worked with was a real, honest-to-goodness professional when it came to devising test plans and executing them.
And she was very much a dyed-in-the-wool liberal. (Note I didn't say Leftists, since I do differentiate them...I view Liberals as part of the Left, but I reserve the term "Leftist" for the real ideological puritans or those useful idiots who would give their all for their Leftist causes)
She knew I was a staunch conservative, and I remember one memorable evening we went out to dinner, and she wanted to know why I was a conservative. I told her that if she was willing to really listen, I would really tell her.
She was, and I did. When I had described my stance on this question, she said I sounded like I had thought it all out (which, was true, over my life to that point, and still is today) and she respected my views.
Anyway, she would make her test patients with names like "California, Robert" or "Louisiana, Cheryl", if she was on the the theme of states. (She used other themes as naming templates for a phase, such as "Badger, William" or "Otter, Susan".) So, back in 2008 we were testing, and one of the patient she created was named "Alaska, Sarah" as a joking nod towards my political leanings.
We had multiple people working with us, and there was one person, a bony, lantern-jawed Irish woman who was a real Leftist believer, not a "Liberal" who might still have an open mind.
So, this Liberal woman and I were talking in her cubicle about our testing, and this skinny Irish woman stomps in and says irritably "What is it with this 'Sarah Alaska' test patient? I am getting sick of seeing it!"
She apparently got the good-natured reference...:)
I looked at her, with what I imagine must have looked like an evil grin, and said "I like seeing that test patient in there. As a matter of fact, I want to see more of it."
Her eyes widened in horror, and she stammered "You're...you're...you're one of THEM!"
It was brilliantly funny to me, the look of dawning horror on her face, this man she had previously thought was a nice, congenial man, had suddenly grown red horns and a tail!
God gave that one a touch of his Passion.
Daughter works for a state DCFS as a psychological evaluator for prospective foster parents and adoptive parents. She says it is very difficult to get white hetero couples approved to adopt. They're at the bottom of the list.
Now a gay couple. Right at the top of the list.
Saw his interview with Raymond Arroyo on EWTN. When asked when did the interest in fighting trafficking he was silent for only a few moments then said when adopting his children. Just got the feeling there was something unsaid. Something he sensed in the process.
That is 100% the imagery that popped into my mind! Although, her face showed more fear than the Body Snatcher’s does!
We need to hear from Trump on this. I’ve seen Trump supporters commenting that DeSantis needs to leave Disney alone because it’s just an amusement park.
Sound of Freedom is a great movie.
Some are just cowards.
By a vote of 213-208, the US House of Representatives passed the Parents' Bill of Rights. Noticed how few agree with the idea of parents having rights regarding their children’s education. Note also the bill should have no hope in the Senate or with the Administration. I specially liked the Congress finding that The right of parents to educate their children is a pre-political natural right that the U.S. Supreme Court has recognized as ‘beyond debate’ and rooted in the ‘history and culture of Western civilization’.

By a 220-210 margin, the House of Representatives on Wednesday passed the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, with only one Democrat voting in favor. So, with only one exception these Democrat legislators establish a line for defense of abortion within their party that includes those born alive despite attempted abortion. According to the logic for voting against this bill, an infant breathing air on its own outside the womb is not a fully human person. Medical personnel are not only not derelict in failing to provide care, but instead must kill the baby.
Now read the bill and to see if that is not a reasonable interpretation.

That what I hate about FREEPERS putting people on pedestals. It happens all the time. When the pedestals fall, they are quick to bash the very people the undeservedly lifted. It happens way to often.
Yeah, it’s an old joke from an advertisement about job interviews gone bad. A prospective employer says from behind a desk showing his last name to be “Dumas.”
Plainly, in French, his name would be “Doo-mah.” It’s usually translated into English, however, as “Doom-iss.”
You, your body and your children’s bodies belong to The State. That is their idology. (not sic)

BTW, I am related to French Canadians, who came to America before there was the standardization to French which is now called, “Metropolitan French” (referring to ‘Metropolitan France,’ which is the European mainland part of the globe-spanning nation of France, not to any sort of metropolitan area). There are PLENTY of authentic French names floating around which have retained pronunciations which now seem falsely as though they have been compromised by English translations.
The LORD bless and keep this man!
Disney only wants pedophilia and faggotry in their crap
