Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) reiterated his "anti-woke" stance in a radio interview Monday morning, claiming, "I'm the only guy running who's been very clear about that issue."
The Republican presidential candidate has been criticized by many on the Left and even some on the Right for his focus on "culture wars." But DeSantis insisted that it permeates several different areas of society. "This woke ideology impacts the economy, the military, criminal law, everything," he told South Carolina state Sen. Josh Kimbrell on The Morning Answer.
"Our freedom is under assault as woke infects more institutions," he said. "I've defeated the woke in Florida. As president, together we will defeat the woke all across this country."
"Every Republican presidential candidate, including Donald Trump, has attacked me for standing up against Disney regarding the sexualization of children," the governor said. "In Florida, we said, 'It's not appropriate to be doing this in school.' They opposed us — they were trying to jam this curriculum into our school. And traditionally, in Florida, if Disney weighed in, they would get their way. But I was willing to stand up."
"If we can't draw a line in the sand and say, you know what, the kids are off limits. When they go to school, they have a right to have a traditional, normal education without having a teacher telling a first grader that they may have been born in the wrong body. It's totally unacceptable," DeSantis said.
Earlier this year, Trump criticized DeSantis's fight with Disney, claiming that the governor was getting "destroyed" by the company.
“I don’t like the term ‘woke’ because I hear, ‘Woke, woke, woke.’ It’s just a term they use, half the people can’t even define it. They don’t know what it is," Trump said during a campaign event.

That bill was tied to more than one thing at the time. Nancy Pelosi and Hakeem Jeffries both voted NO, for example.
“I am Donald Trump!”
That’s exactly what he and all the others should say. As a group they should come out with a news conference and all drop out wanting no part of the election interference going on against a fellow Republican weaponizing the FBI to go after political opponents. After all, once Trump has been put out of the race, the next top primary candidate will have a dossier written about him (her), false allegations and whatever.
They should step down and say “we are all Donald Trump now”

I like seeing all those red X’s behind DeSantis in that picture, showing leftist ideology he’s taken out. I guess the point of your graphic is he’s too conservative to be President. Could be. Still makes him a great conservative governor and faithful family man, which I’ll take over lifetime leftists who paint themselves as something different in the twilight of their life just to get power. Whatever works, right?

I’ll look at it, but it proves nothing on its own. Trump had/has billionaire donors too, including NY hedge fund owners and casino magnates at the very top of his lists. You think those guys are automatically on the up and up?
They all opposed him in 2016. That’s the point.
They were happy to support him once he was the incumbent and probable winner

Not in its current form. Ukraine is not a NATO ally, and does not deserve the level of support they've been given. I'm not even sure some of the smaller insignificant NATO allies would deserve the level of support that's been given to Ukraine. We are already offering support to core NATO allies, in case they want to support Ukraine, or not, due to their proximity. But we shouldn't. Ukraine is too corrupt, for starters. It will continue to be run by corrupt oligarchs no matter who wins this "war" in my estimation. The financial fights from the back rooms finally just spilled out into the street.
What level of support would be acceptable to you?
Well, Obama gave them blankets, and there was peace. Trump gave them lots of anti-tank missiles, and war broke out. Was there a direct correlation? Possibly. I think blankets were probably sufficient. What about you. Blankets or bombs.
