Anyone here use Patriot Mobile for their cell service?

If so, pros or cons?

I use Ultra and it is something like $31.44 for a month with I think 1000 minutes and 10GB of data.

I use up all the data by about the 27th day of 30.

They have multi-month plans that are considerably cheaper per month, but not at the 10GB level as I recollect.

I've been using Mint for six months, hmm, seven, and it's been working great, no problems, and I got to use the phone I want rather than relying on which models they think would be good for me.

They use the T-Mobile network, so the Mint service is a sort of sublet. Previously I got 4GB a month. Now I get 5Gb a month (either is more than enough for me, but I don't think it carries over), and I paid $180 for the entire coming year.

I set up the transfer from the previous provider (ugh) and installed eSIM, entirely without waiting on hold. The online chat person told me step by step, and patiently waited while I did each step. Breeze.

I switched to patriot last summer. Have not had any problems. Love the savings over AT&T. I have a work phone that’s AT&T, but never had to use it as a backup. Central Texas located!

I’m very familiar with Patriot Mobile. The leadership consists of Conservatives who love God, love America, and want to make a difference.

If you look up public records on the major carriers you will see large donations to Democrat politicians and Leftist organizations. Patriot Mobile does the exact opposite, they donate to conservative causes and organizations.

Patriot is a MVNO, a reseller of other carriers. There are many companies in this space. Their quality of service has improved drastically in recent years after moving from Sprint exclusively do the larger/better network providers.

While I personally am a customer of VZ, I would recommend giving Patriot Mobile a try.

PM’s selling point is that they support conservative causes.

Well I’ll throw in my Cheapo provider, I don’t see it listed yet.
It’s called Ultra Mobile. Uses T-Mobile lines. I pay 6 months in advance and get it for $15 a month with 2 gigs of bandwidth each month. Which like most people I never come close to using.

Probably the only criticism I would make is like so many companies the tech support is outside the us. It’s essentially worthless. Fortunately you don’t really need it.

You can buy your phone anywhere you want if it’s unlocked and supports the T-Mobile network. I bought a moto g2021 for about $150.

I use Tello also. $8.00 per month and get 1 gb data and 300 minutes of talk. No one else I tried to come close.

I pay 15.00/month with T-Mobil. I don’t use my cell phone much anymore but I get internet and unlimited calls and text.

I used Mintmibile for almost two years, paying by the year. Great service, great phone support, and 5gb data which I never hit the limit on. The only reason I left was because I got an Apple Watch that needs a separate watch/phone sim number to call for falls. The big three have that locked up, and you have to use one of them.

I would go back to MintMobile in a minute if not for wanting Apple Watch connection. MintMobile also has terrific family plans rates.

If it has Patriot in the name, it’s probably run by China.

For us, Verizon was many times better than T-Mobile. With TM, calls frequently do not connect, appear to connect and nothing happens, calls drop all the time, voices sound garbles and underwater, long dropouts on calls (20-30 sec). It is an ENDLESS conversation of “Can you hear me now?” They should make a commercial of me saying that.

I use Pure Talk, I see no reason to change that. Me and the Missus pay 50 a month for both and it is great service. If you are always connected through cell towers, it may cost more. She is at home with the wi fi, and I am about 50/50

I use Patriot Mobile. When I signed up, I could choose any one of the networks(Verizon, AT&T or T mobile). If I decide to use change the network, it can be done. It’s cheaper than Verizon, which is the service I had before.

I do, and I love it.

They do use AT&T, but are Pro-Life and Support Conservative Causes.

My phone came with a copy of the Cobnstitution and the Dof I.

That’s a whole lot better than Verizon.

I use Consumer Cellular who uses AT&T as their carrier. Costs around $20/month. I pay $40/month for 50GB of data. Excellent service. Never have a problem with disconnected call.

Patriot Mobile says they use all three carriers: Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T.

I can tell you for a fact that is not true for Patriot Mobile.

I went on Mint Mobile website. Thanks to you I just bought a new phone and plan. I paid $399 for a new Samsung S21 FE, and paid a year in advance for service, $130 (5 GB data). Based on my current Straighttalk plan, which is about $35 a month, I figure, calculated over a year, I just bought a new phone for net $120 including taxes and fees.
