About 1 1/2 miles from where I live
That was quick.
Lesson to all, don’t go around trying to rob people.
You might die.
God bless this woman who was wise enough to ignore the tyranny of the left and practice her God given right to self defense.
Watch your back, FRiend.
From story: ABC 13 Eyewitness News by Shannon Ryan.
The husband said the man, who police have since identified as 39-year-old Mario Duque, repeatedly asked him, “Do you want to die tonight?” Surveillance video shows the couple ignoring Duque, who pointed a gun at them multiple times.
The video also shows Duque approaching the husband and pistol-whipping him. The wife pulled a gun out of her bag and shot Duque, who continued pointing his weapon at the couple. The husband also shot him.
“Thank God we had our guns. I’ve never been happier to be a gun carrier,” the woman said.
Houston is weird. Where we live is a decent neighborhood, but once you cross West Road just South of us it gets real sketchy in just a few blocks.
““Thank God we had our guns. I’ve never been happier to be a gun carrier,” the woman said.”
You never “need” a gun until you do. When that point arrives do you ask the assailant to wait while you retrace your steps and get the gun from your safe in the basement and the ammo from the lock-box in the attic? Do you ask him to wait until Monday morning so you can go apply for your “carry permit”, and wait another six months to a year for it to be approved so you can carry that firearm on your side?
Even further, do you wait until tyranny comes upon your nation and THEN ask a government official’s permission to purchase and own a firearm?
I think not!
Good job by the couple. It had to be a stressful situation and we never know how we will act until we have been faced with such ourselves.
I love a story with a happy ending.
Good thing before he became kinetic.
Great post. Every word is true.
