Geez. How did the boiseites vote? Once upon a time the sheriff could tell them “No thanks!” As for seannee, pound sand.

Theyโ€™re all corruptโ€ฆunfortunately this includes the majority of blue. Not all but the majority. Sorry for my skepticism, but I trust no one anymore not even border patrol agents who are getting $$$ from the invasion. Trust me when I say that.

“After the 2020 & 2022 elections, it does not matter what voters think, feel, say, or want.”

Many of us felt the same way when Jimmy Carter won. Then Reagan came along for eight years; life was good, or at least much better.

If you are arguing Satan is gaining more and more adherents, I can’t deny that.

If you are arguing Satan is on the verge of victory, that I deny.

Those that have the will to fight, let them fight; you could hold their coats without expending too much energy.

I’d rather be on the side of the little Idaho legislature than the big New York legislature.

Maybe someone can breathe enough oxygen on the conservative remnant to extend the life of the Republic another 10 years. That’s not nothing.

Well, while I agree with the sentiment, with this move Idaho has just made itself a destination for every child trafficer and kiddie porn sharer in the country.

I think the states could put some restrictions on feds operating within their borders. For example: no subpoenas without prior approval of the state's own law enforcement or by a state-appointed judge. Another: no agents from outside the state can operate within the state's borders. If agents are wanted to transfer assignment to the state in question they have to be approved by the state, with reasons given for the transfer. Failure to comply could result in sanctions, closing of an office or such. Either of those would have stopped the MaraLago raid. Another suggestion: penalties for looking at private data of the state's citizens without subpoena.

“The University of Idaho quadruple murder trial may be difficult without the FBIโ€™s evidence & testimony.”

Still, as a juror you have to ask: “When an FBI agent testifies under oath, is it reasonable to ask if he/she is telling the truth?”

And this: “When an FBI agent testifies something is true, is there credible, independent evidence to support the FBI agent? Or is it just the agency’s word against the defendant’s word?”

Where do you suggest the resistance start? If Fedgov has been weaponized against conservatives, shouldn’t conservatives be pushing hard at the local/state levels? If you’re an eternal pessimist, wouldn’t it be harder for you to establish even a local support network, much less geographical/statewide opposition?

Back the blue, Sean. Until it happens to you.

Local police tend to be decent. In certain places, they may be corrupt (Chicago Police?). American military are ordinary citizens. Federal agents tend to be jack booted thugs. But not all agencies are like that. Border Patrol have a tough job and they're not getting any support from the administration in Washington, D.C.

> Local police tend to be decent. <

Itโ€™s an absolute coin flip. You might get an officer who is polite and courteous.
Or you might get a cop who screams at you, and takes every opportunity to escalate things.

This is a serious problem. We need the police. And the police need us.

When thereโ€™s a 50-50 chance that a police encounter will alienate an honest citizen, things are most certainly moving in the wrong direction.

The resolution was passed “out of the body”. That is different than voting as the legislature.

Maybe just prohibit the use of any state, county, or city resources to enforce any FBI actions. Kind of like how states like California refusing to give ICE any assistance with illegals. Just the reverse......something like that.

Conservative states probably have lots of options to deal with the Federal corruption and are going to have to deal with it at some point.

Interesting news given the huge FBI data center in Pocatello. It's not likely to be abandoned on a whim.

"The FBI is a disgrace. Nothing like the way it used to be."
The FBI was corrupted from the get-go under Hoover. It denied there was a Mafia while killing small-time stick-up artists like Bonnie and Clyde (and in the process killed a car full of park rangers, oops) and bank robbers who got too famous. Like Epstein, it did get the blackmail goods on a lot of politicians.

Every dictatorial tyrannical government has an “FBI”. Union government no different.
