Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, recently “teased” the nation — and the media — with details of a bribery scheme involving Joe Biden, his son Hunter, and a foreign national. This occurred after an IRS whistleblower testified he was removed from the Hunter Biden criminal probe following interference by the Justice Department.
Now the Department of Justice has indicted the front-runner of the 2024 Republican nomination, former President Donald Trump, for alleged mishandling of sensitive documents. However, similar conduct regarding both the confidential documents in current President Joe Biden’s garage and Hillary Clinton’s private email server has been ignored or excused.
The response to Grassley — not only from the media but also from the White House and the FBI itself — demonstrates that a full impeachment of President Joe Biden is the only way to bring accountability to the Biden administration.

The Senate wont convict anyway, so impeachment is the only thing on the table. Impeachment, by itself, wont change anything in terms of power. We saw that with Trump. I expect no less with Biden. His mental state is more likely to impact the Dem primary process than impeachment would.
That said, the “right” thing to do is impeach. There are legitimate crimes involved in Biden’s case. The only political calculus is whether impeachment is helpful or not in the next election cycle.
One one hand, if Biden is impeached and he does run against Trump, throwing out the impeachment card to attack Trump is now mute (most of us know that Trumps impeachment was political garbage anyway, but the left would still keep bringing it up. Biden being impeached would make that more difficult).
On the other hand, would an impeachment process against Biden turn a certain percentage of independent voters off voting a republican ticket? I dont know.
I always try to lean towards doing the right thing.

The democrats have quite a problem on their hands. That problem is named Joe Biden. As long as he is running, Newsom and others are blocked from doing so and the democrats are stuck with this turd. Of course, with their voting schemes and cheating, does it matter if they run a turd? I digress.
As someone pointed out above, impeachment would rally the troops around Biden. The usual demonization of Republicans the labelling of the impeachment as a MAGA plot would follow. Next would come the fake Mitt Romney speech on the Senate floor explaining how he just can’t vote to impeach Biden because God told him not to or something. This, of course, followed by his telling everyone that nobody is above the law so Trump has to go to jail.
At the end, Biden emerges stronger and we emerge more enraged and demotivated than ever (not me, but many will be).
The longer Biden hangs out there without consequences, the more apparent to everyone the reality of the situation in this country becomes. Namely, that the Left is legal and everyone else isn’t. Everyone else must be jailed or canceled or ruined. The Left just is what is and you are what isn’t.
