A Walmart customer has furiously slammed the retail giant for placing a range of bras and panties that were seemingly being marketed at young girls next to the men's clothing section in her local store.
Sasha Piton of Idaho Falls, Idaho, took to TikTok to rant about the awkward positioning of two clothing sections, further noting that these 'bras and panties' were also easily visible from the megastore's grocery department.
After stating she'd come to Walmart to look for a bralette she'd seen on a different visit, Sasha, who goes by @thesashapiton on the platform, couldn't help but notice the odd product proximities.
'Here's the food section; here's the men's section. Why are panties and bras right by the food and the men's section?' she implored in the 48-second video.
'I don't care. I'm a grown woman,' she further declared.
'But I think if you are a teenager who wants to look at these fun, cute, totally colored panties, why do you have to do it next to the men's section or next to the food section?
'For girls between the ages of eight and 18 should totally get to shop their bras and panties in private,' she continued.
'And I get, I get it's a big old store. But I just don't think that these cute little panties should be right across from the men's section.
'These are definitely like more geared for teenagers but still - just come on. Come on!' she concluded.

I think someone is jumping the shark - and maybe they have something against Walmart in general...
Online shopping is the solution to her problem.
Now ask Walmart to define what a “woman” is....
“I believe a lot of careful thought goes into store layout and product placement.“
Sometimes too much.
Thirty odd years ago I went to JC Penny to do my once a year twenty minute shopping expedition. I try nothing on. I start in one dept and walk around grabbing what I need. I know where all the various depts are. Last was shoes. I’m carrying this huge pile of clothes looking for mens shoes which I cannot seem to find. Just as I thought my wanderings are gonna attract the attention of security I spot Security hovering nearby trying to look interested in something else. So I ask a sales lady where are Men’s Shoes? She got an uh-oh sort of look on her face and said that men’s shoes was now on the second floor at the back of Ladies Lingerie. AT THE BACK! There was no way to me s shoes EXCEPT thru a forest of half naked dummies. I looked at the nearby escalator. I looked at the array of bra and panty wearing mannequins I could see from there. I looked at the sales lady. I put down the hundreds of dollars of stuff I’d intended to buy, shook my head and walked away. Twenty minutes was up.
“What do you all think?”
trying to make a big deal out of every little thing is counter productive.
“The Idaho resident took to TikTok to share her concerns”
Oh, Tiktok.
Yep. Aqualung would feel right at home in a Wal-Mart.
Our Walmart is currently being COMPLETELY re-arranged. It’s ridiculous. But it seems they’re revamping all their stores.
I haven’t been in the ‘Made In China’ clothing section, but I will check it out next time I go and check out where they’ve put the ladies wear.
The world is being run by a bunch of sick, evil perverted men who are trying to normalize their perversion. The ultimate goal appears to be to genocide out women after they have their reproduction outside the female womb going on.
Women need to stand up and put a stop to this.
Your post makes no sense and nobody cares about Gisele, not even Tom.
Walmart has departments. That makes it a department store. The womens’s clothing is not on shelves with the fishing rods and reels or the bottled water.
I would because I would not figure the toilet paper would be stocked in the deli.
Unless they are trying to tell people they will need it after eating their deli items.
End caps in stores often stock items that could be used for or related to close by items.
It is done so the perverts can be close by to buy women’s underwear.
And for the snobs around, many people buy underpants and bras at Walmart because that is what they can afford.
Instead of making fun of the just be glad they are coverin’ it up so you don’t have to ruin your delicate eyes looking at it naked.
Several years ago I was working on a project where we used duct tape to temporarily hold the work until we finished with it. There were special holders but the duct tape worked better. As a result we went through quite a bit of tape. One day after work I went to get mart of walls to resupply. While there I noticed they had a sale on big bags of Recess and had a nice folding chair that I could take to ball games.
the path to the checkout went through the girls and women’s underwear departments. (Each was on opposite sides of the walkway.) Here I was with a folding chair, a big bag of candy and ten rolls of duct tape in the unmentionables section when I spotted the preachers wife looking at me with a weird look on her face.
Shortly after that I moved two states away
There are a lot of things on the world to worry about - this isn’t high on my list. Perhaps the woman ought to take her complaint to Walmart instead of a news organization in the UK.
Well it’s a department store. So it has a lot of different stuff in different areas, but all relatively close together. And clothing is AN area, that’s generally divided into a couple of sub sections. Like men’s and women’s. But they’re going to be close together. And because there’s no walls they’re going to be wide open. Every department store I’ve ever been in was like this. If they want to shop for underwear privately that’s what Victoria’s Secret is for.
You are correct. I work for a company that manufacturers items sold at retail. Simply changing a shelf location, such as raising the product to a higher shelf can result in greatly increased sales. We have a group of people that study that and make recommendations to customers.
Putting that in a private area would reduce their sales probably 80%. If they do that, I want toilet paper in a private area too and sold in unmarked packaging.
Where I live? There are at women’s sleepwear, one isle over from the knickers. However yes right in the women’s department. None in men/boys. It’s like the men and boys never try on anything?
You know come to think of it I’ve never seen men try on clothing just women. The dressing rooms themselves are safe, there is no way to put a camera under the stalls like say at Target. Once you are in the little room you are secure, that is unless someone planted a hidden device in the room. Still though, I never see men go in that area.
I don’t think men do it enough. That’s risky behavior. Clothing needs to be tried unless you are buying the exact same thing.
In fact Target had weird men’s dressing cubes. But Target here hasn’t allowed ANYONE to use dressing rooms since the scamdemic and locked up the men’s first. They are STILL locked up from usage. Lots of reasons to dislike Target.
I think it’s outrageous that there should be a section just for women’s underwear. They should be happy wearing tidy whities like the rest of us! And if a wife beater undershirt is good enough for a guy, it should do for a gal. Bras are relics of a by-gone era and good riddance!
> I’m going to Walmart tomorrow to recon this situation for myself.
Be very careful who you tell you’re going to Walmart to check out the girls underwear! 🤣
