Who else needs to figuratively kiss and make up?
At the rate they are dying off (and with what's left), I can only think of 2 cases - Roger and Rick of Supertramp, and Dennis and Tommy of Styx.
I'm sure there are many more.
Add to the list.
I don’t Phil can play anymore
Gabriel like Willie can sing the phone book
I like to see Robert Fripp with anyone
A patriot
He and his adorable wife doing Heroes for poppies day is a treat
King Crimson is likely out
Another Heroes rendition obviously impossible now
Lemmy RIP
It’s better than nothing
Syd started the band but his influence is legendarily overemphasized mostly due to the LSD legacy and band referring to him 10 years
Peter Green similar demise was a bigger force in Mac
First of three eras anyhow
That’s not the point
People pay to see the hits done
Relive it
"Say something once, why say it again?"
Love Robert and Toyah’s videos, what a great couple.
I thought it was cool when Mick Taylor played w/ the Stones a few years ago. I like Ronnie Wood, but Taylor was just better at those early 70’s songs imo.
I’d definately pay to see Supertramp.
Simon and Garfunkel perhaps, but the issue with older singers is they often really lose their voice.
I did see the Dixie Dregs recent reunion with Steve Morse, excellent.
I’d go see the Eurythmics again if they toured.
Fleetwood mac was always entertaining the 3 times I saw them.
The Police
Dire Straits
Will soon see Tears for Fears
Duran Duran
America
Bad Company - would have been nice
10 cc
Genesis
Grand Funk Railroad
Van Morrison
Elder musicians are just fine resting on their back catalogs, so long as they’re healthy enough to play concerts.
I’ll see your Steve Perry and raise you a Gregg Rolie. (Sorry, but I prefer the pre-Perry Journey.)
Actually, Gregg Rolie needs to get back with Santana.
Heh. In that case, does Neal Schon as well?
From what I’ve seen Dennis and Tommy are at peace with each other, but they’re doing their own thing and have no urge to work together.
Rick and Roger are big quits, and Rick is sick. So no reunion there ever.
Actually they did reunite a few years ago.
They’ve done a couple of one offs. But Fish says Marillion is doing great without him and there’s no reason for them to go backward for a reunion with a guy who hasn’t been in the band for decades and is only on a small part of their catalog.
Does Lorne Michaels' $75 offer still stand?
Entire “classic” Motorhead lineup is gone with Fast Eddie Clarke’s passing in 2018.
