IME.. partially correct.
Their role is to get rid of experienced productive workers. That tend to be the wrong color or worldview.
And replace these productive workers with underskilled, under productive workers that tend to look and have the same worldview as the DEI managers.
How can they not see that Americans are fed up with queers? It was enough to agree to let them be, but then that wasn’t enough (imagine that!) and then they demanded to get married, demanded special made-up pronouns, and now demand access to your children through a compliant network of woke school teachers and librarians. I wouldn’t be even a little surprised to see this go full circle. In fact, that might be a good thing.
The backlash will not abate any time soon.

It’s not just the gender fluid wokeness. The people in charge to the writing, screenplays, etc... the basic movie making, are incompetent. They don’t know the basic principles of movie making. They are all hired based on who they know not because of any demonstrated competence. Even if the movies weren’t woke they would still bomb.
This was the bitch that was famous for killing Splash Mountain. Coporate America like government makes up these jobs to employ many Latrondas or Shaniquas. Better in their minds then letting them smoke 3 packs of Kools a day and pumping out other little monkeys.
Shareholders need to sue Disney for destroying its brand.

Looks like the Three Evils lost a boatload of money for their investors. Disney share value is down 50% in the last two years and the Disney brand is damaged.
