A 13-year-old girl was called “despicable” by her teacher at a Church of England school in the United Kingdom on Friday after asking a classmate how she identifies as a cat.
The schoolgirl and her friend were reprimanded by their teacher at Rye College in East Sussex at the end of an eighth-grade “life education” class, where they were told that they could “be who you want to be and how you identify is up to you,” The Telegraph reported.
Following the lesson one of the students asked a classmate: “How can you identify as a cat when you’re a girl?”
The teacher told the students they were being reported to school administrators and would no longer be welcome at the school if they continued to express the view that only boys and girls exist, according to a recording of the exchange.
In the clip, taken by one of the students, the teacher starts off by saying, “How dare you, you’ve just really upset someone” by “questioning their identity,” according to The Telegraph.

If I had been a 13-year-old guy in that school I’d be pretending to have fits due to my severe cat allergy!
Purrrfect solution. Insist that the "cat's" presence in the classroom will set off your allergy and put you into anaphylactic shock, so if that cat doesn't go, you're going to sue. Use some alinsky on the woketards and make them live by their own rules.
The shorter version...
I used to be a werewolf but I’m alright nowwwwooooooooo - aaargh a-a aroooo.
Yep, as I keep saying, the 19th amendment wasn’t such a good idea.
“UK is DOA“
As opposed to the Penn State professor having sex with his dog?
“Then isn’t it okay to identify as a girl who questions others’ identities?”
Stop making sense, will you?
HEY TEACHERS! LEAVE THEM KIDS ALONE!
“Then isn’t it okay to identify as a girl who questions others’ identities?”
Absolutely not!! We are an inclusive school! We want every child to feel welcome.
I self identify as a sea urchin.
They should do repeated tests to make sure the cat can always land on its feet, too. And perhaps require it to spend a certain amount of time licking itself, and to cough up a hairball from time to time as proof. Regular trips to the vet are a must, since the cat needs to be up to date on rabies and other vaccinations.
I bet the teacher would be fine with a student who identifies as a cat who questions others’ identities.
Despicable? Is that a breed of dog?
The teacher is mentally abusing the child. In a sane world, the “teacher” would be fired, and the parents would sue.
The 13 year old should have said, “I identify as the principal. And you are fired.”
That song needs to be revived - FAST!
I’ve been catching myself singing that more recently.
I could see that song going viral with a lot of kids today... and it could turn the tide.
“We don’t need no education. We don’t need no thought control!”
So incredibly appropriate for today!
This is ridiculous. obviously.
but if a student identifies as a cat. Then can All the other kids bring their cats to school?
can some claim alergies? and not be in the same classroom, to the cats, eal or fake.
can a student identify as the superintendant? and fire teachers? declare holidays? expect a massive paycheck, sick days, pension?
The Church of England gave up on the truth long ago.
This student should bring in live mice for the “cat” each and every day.
How dare you?! What are you? A biologist or something?!
/sarcasm

Use proper names and forget about this pronoun nonsense.
