That…:the 1960 presidential election…. The close attempt by Hillary in 2016 were she ‘WON’ the plurality. And of course 2020 blatant theft and the midterms in 2022.

The Democrats are friggin thrives. The Republicans are complicit and/or cowards

Parr was a real scoundrel. Not even lovable.

The best thing about LBJ is that he suffered three heart attacks, and the last one ended that SOB at 64. RIH.

It’s simple. Just change the leading digit in a block of four from a 3 to an 8.

This isn’t new. I read John Connolly’s biography and he had the same story, only LBJ lost a Governor’s race in 1946 and Connolly blamed himself because he was LBJ’s campaign manager and was talking to someone on the phone the night of the election and blabbed that it looked like they had a 100-vote lead. Soon that lead was gone (this was Democrats stealing from Democrats, mind you).

LBJ vowed this would never happen to him again and ordered Connolly to keep his mouth shut on election night. Supposedly the suspicious votes in Box 13 were not only in alphabetical order but the signatures were in the same handwriting.

And LBJ wore that “Landslide Lyndon” nickname throughout his days in the Senate.

People talk about Clinton and Kennedy’s sexual liaisons - Lyndon made them look like rookies. And not all of his were “consenting”

He was a crude S.O.B.

Thus how evil builds on itself.

That his first evil (theft of election) wasn’t stopped it led to his big evil; The Great Society.

Fixed voting machines are just the new version of box 13. How many times did we hear of boxes of votes being brought in at the last minute with 101% of precincts voting for D in the past few presidential elections.

Johnson’s association with Clyde, Texas’, Billie Sol Estes, was an example of virtue and honesty with no corruption at all.

The stories of corruption in Alice,Texas and also Tilden County are legend. I was a uranium geologist in this province during the 70’s and 80’s. The theft of this election was talked about as if Robin Hood had outsmarted the Sheriff of Nottingham. In any event the veracity of the theft story was never at issue.

Judge Parr stuffed the ballot boxes in Starr, Zapata and Duval Counties and when that wasn’t enough this happened. It was part of my family’s lore when I was growing up.

My Grandfather was in Peck’s Cafe in Freer Texas the morning after the election. They counted 33 people in the Cafe that had voted against LBJ. There were only 28 votes turned in for LBJ’s opponent.
